Man what a mess what a total embarrassment this is. Offseason from hell.

And Ringless thanks for your constant ranting bs. I don't think I could live without it. Here is an idea, never mind don't really two craps what you do or say. Your constant jabs are way immature and illogical. Surely the only reason your posting about a Niner thread is to talk shit.
Well, in his defense, when an organization spends so much time providing so much low-hanging fruit to swing at, it really just tempts people to keep stepping up to the plate.

I feel bad for the Niners fans.. Seriously.

This is just too much. Surreal, Bruce Miller? You gotta be kidding me.
I don't feel bad for very many of their fans myself. Way too many of them are like some of guys that frequent these boards.....lvnginhwktwn, 5_Golden_Rings, etc. and as far as I'm concerned I'm enjoying the fact that these kind of people are going to be wallowing in shit city as Frisco fans for a while.

I DO feel bad for rlkats, Popeye, Marv, my friends Scott and Brent and the few Whiner fans that aren't giant douchebags or borderline psychopaths which covers about 85% of their fanbase IMO.

Mostly, I feel bad for Miller's wife. Takes a real freakin' man to beat a woman. God you're a giant POS Miller.

You don't even know what happened with Miller yet you pass judgment and call the guy POS, talk about giant Dbag's.
OK big boy, as reported by "NUMEROUS SOURCES" he is being charged with "SPOUSAL BATTERY" and therefore he's a giant POS. I've got ZERO freaking tolerance for a man that hits a woman and for you to defend him in even this roundabout fashion make you a GIANT POS, not just a "D-bag".

"Spousal battery" POS, "spousal freaking battery".

C'mon POS, defend him some more by saying I "don't know what happened". Spousal battery is what happened. Spousal freakin' battery.

What if she likes it ? Oh crap, now we're talking about my wife. :thirishdrinkers:

11th arrest in four years for the Niners.

Is this the kind of "class" Jed keeps referring to?
In Baalke's defense, all the arrested guys had long arms.

It's got to a point where I'm in amazement an organisation can implode to the degree the 49'ers have. I only know one 49 fan here in the UK and he's a total moron, I absolutely feel sorry for the rough ride the decent fans are going to endure, it won't be pretty.

Frank Gore - He will be replaced with a tandem of Hyde and Hunter (if hunter can recover from the injury) I firmly believe that even if we just had Hyde, it will be a slight improvement in speed and stamina. We will lose a team leader, but whos to say Carlos cant step into that role until he has the chance to?

Justin Smith - He wasnt great by any means last year, and we have Dockett coming in to help solidify the d line.

Patrick Willis - I can confidently say that Borland is better than Pat right now. Pat was obviously better in his prime, but right now is what counts, and what Borland did last year was spectacular.

Michael Crabtree - Bringing in Torrey Smith will be a HUGE upgrade over Crabtree, who most of us are ready to let go of.

Jim Harbaugh and Staff - Jim & staff are seriously the only loss that im not confident we have replaced with equal or better talent, but i have to hold judgement until i see Tomsulas staff perform.

This isn't that far off, is it? I mean, its more "like" for "like", (Smith is probably better than Crabtree as well) and on a team that was just barely mediocre, its not helpful. However, its not as if the team has gotten worse.

Well, on the bright side, Tomsula has the rest of the locker room pulling together.

Miller was so upset about his team mates leaving, that he went home and beat his wife. Now that's solidarity.

That and she probably shouldn't burn the meatloaf next time.

Not defending Miller here because I don't yet know what happened, but he hasn't yet been charged with anything. He was arrested.

So far all I've seen is that she said she was "attacked" and he took her keys. She also said "nevermind" at the end of her call...so no idea what that means.

If Miller hit her, cut him. Now.

Just dunno what happened yet so I'd slow down on judgment.

We'll wait to see what happens, but it's worth knowing CA law here.

It's important to know that you can be arrested for three levels of domestic battery: 1) domestic battery, 2) aggravated battery, or 3) corporal injury of a spouse.

You can also be arrested for any of these levels at the misdemeanor level or the felony level.

If the DA decides to charge he/she can change these things, but the initial police report does give some insight into the *type* of thing which MAY have happened.

For instance, Ray McDonald, IIRC, was arrested for a felony committal of the highest battery level: "corporal injury to a spouse."

Bruce Miller's arrest report is for the misdemeanor committal of the lowest level (domestic battery).

Usually that's reserved for anything from throwing an article of clothing (which falls under the domestic battery law) to slight and non-physically damaging touching, blocking a doorway, etc.

All to say that I'm in now way whatsoever defending Bruce Miller or whatever his actions may have been, but looking at the charges and assuming the reporting officer isn't a total idiot, the chances of him having hit her are exceptionally low.

ZERO tolerance policy man, freakin' ZERO when it comes to laying a hand on a woman.
At least your post came with the caveat that if it's found he did this he ought to be cut immediately. The problem is that victims remain victims because they retract their accusationbs far, far too often. And if you waqit for the no justice system to play all of this out she feels more and more pressure to retract, especially since he's a higher profile person.

...jeez.

I guess arrest means guilt these days. There is no acceptable reason to hit his wife, but you are condemning him before you've heard a damn thing.

Sad. I hope you never find yourself accused of anything.
