Very interesting off season for us. What a great start with the Naylor signing, though.
Yes, if they don't sign Naylor, there's almost nothing they can do in the off-season (given the available free agents) that would fill the void.

Yeah there ya go, he evidently didn't hear that last part.
I did read that part. Lol. I still wouldn't say this team is loaded yes including the minors. Theres still too many guys unsigned. Right now at this second the M;s have Young/Rivas at 2nd and Williamson at 3rd, and no true lead off hitter. Emerson or Laz might be called up at some point this year that's it. If they don't bring back the same team at the very least theyre in trouble.

Marte is worlds better than Polanco.
If we're gonna spend it let's get a .280 30 hr guy. That would be the last bat in a trade with AZ. We will be trading Castillo. I predict we will pay some of that contract. Still way under the luxury tax. We could try Emerson at 3rd and SS and see what happens spelling JP. Naylz should be DH some along with Montez. Working in the youth and see what shakes out. I think it's doable.

Well you sure confused us! "Bottom of the lineup still weak." Anyway, I think we can all agree that there are guys in the minors that look highly promising.

I like the idea of Emerson at 3rd. I would even move him to short against lefties to spell JP and roll with Willasom at 3rd on those day. I feel like people are also sleeping on Cole Young. I hope he's our starting 2nd baseman going into next year.
