And Rick Mirer and Ryan Leaf were number two picks who would have been number ones if not for another QB in each draft.

A lot of you get confused when someone, who’s obviously a Hawks fan, states reality. No one here wants to lose. Pete and John don’t want to lose.
But choices were made and those that made those decisions and supported it, will get the chance to see the by-product of their asinine miscalculations.
I doubt you appreciate what we had and where we should’ve went with this team but, the damage has been done.
It’s not all bad. We had a great draft. We should be excited to see who Pete and JS plan on grabbing at QB in next years draft. Things will obviously take time. We can sit back, relax, watch these youngsters develop, and cross our fingers. I expect 4-5 wins…it just is what it is.
Once the rest of you PTSD (Pete Testicle Swinging Degenerate) types wake up and realize a “game manager” simply doesn’t cut it in today’s game and that Pete gets out-coached in more games than not, you don’t have to post anything suggesting you were wrong. Most of us already know.

I am one of those that have been saying fire Pete for years, but I would be ecstatic if Pete stepped away from the head coaching role and left x and o philosophy to whoever he brought in to replace himself while staying in the front office and involved with the on-the-field activities as a motivator only. It isn't losing that bothers me. It is losing while playing poorly.
Still, we could have that dog from that basketball DVD playing QB, Carroll will get at least 5 wins.
Whether a dog or Geno or Lock, maybe only one in our division (we beat either the Rams or the Cards once), but we get 5-7 wins.
It will likely be some ugly slow 'stuck in the mud' type of football. So not sure how excited I am to watch it. But only 3 wins is VERY unlikely.
