Oh hell yeah. This guy is lock down and a huge day one starter. Replaces Coby Bryant at free safety. I like Okada but Bud Clark has it all. Length, speed, ball skills. Coverage is lockdown he is a damn good pick up

One of my favorite safeties in this class, perhaps even #2 behind Stukes, Seahawks smartly using this draft replacing the two biggest players lost in free agency.

Have to believe they are fine with OG depth not taking Pregnon or Dunker: Bradford in contract year, Haynes looks like he put in more work this off-season more so then he looked last year at this time plus the explosive potential of Cabeldue whose athleticism is comparable to Zabel.

Thought the pick would be perhaps Crawford but it is a vote of confidence that Nwosu (trade rumors) and Lawrence (retirement) staying put, and they feel solid enough with Otoole and Ivey as prospects more than we do. But more importantly, they have a veteran they’ll add in June.

Feeling boundary CB is going to be the next pick, maybe Prysock after a trade down at 96.

Interesting you say that. I looked him up on Brugler's write up. The first thing he had under weakness was "lean limbed. Looks more like a corner than safety". Bit of a strange "weakness" but I guess if you are looking at him strictly as safety only
Just noticed how good he is at tracking the ball (mind you.,,highlight film).

We’ve done it before!

Versatile player! Can play corner and safety! True ball skills. Always around the ball and baits QBs into throwing his direction. Our secondary just keeps improving!

Great pick to lock down the vacant spot after Coby left!

Posted in the Gameday draft thread that I didn’t quite understand the pick.

That's why I liked our first pick, he has a good football name. That's how I predict if a player will do well and generally it works out.
Really? I think by name alone Bud has a great football name. I could be convince but I don’t hear it with Price as much

I like Clark a lot but he played 6 seasons of college football and was nicked up a lot.
He needs to add some muscle weight and needs a little coaching refinement but the guys a baller and has some versatility.
He could cause Stafford & Purdy some headaches.

They needed corner and are in a SB window. It's better to bank on a healthy Oline with continuity and add depth later if need be

Bud Clark strikes me as the kind of defender who, when Seahawks are down to the wire in a nail-biter and desperate for a miraculous play, comes out of nowhere with an amazing defensive feat to save the day. The kind of play where a huge insane celebration immediately ensues on the field.
