  • Tre Harris dropped to 18, a position of need, even if not the greatest need, significantly BPA.
  • I was reluctant to take Egbuku but when he went to R2 I decided to trade to get him or Zabel, when Egbuku went at 43 I traded up for Zabel.
  • With Kupp and JSN mainly slot receivers Harris is a great addition to the WR room
  • 3 of the first 4 picks used to beef up the O-Line (TE's are part of the O-line) (plus a centre later)
  • The last time we got a QB under 6ft in the draft it worked out pretty well.

Gabriel is low risk in the late rounds. He did take his team to the natty, which isn't nothing.

I forget how disappointing the draft is and it's not because JS doesn't draft well. My reason is because after watching so much video to familiarize myself with as many guys as possible, I get hooked on a few every year.
This year they are Ty Robinson, Isaiah Bond, Savion Williams, Oluwafemi Oladeju and Willie Lampkin.

Didn't read this thread but is there a unified consensus as to whom the Hawks should draft at #18?

Not sure Conerly is a fit at LG.

Well if this draft class is anything like the 2k9 class that offered Aaron Curry.. We should just trade every pick, it had to been the worst draft class ever.

Thought I would get some draft capital for next year to move up without sacrificing to much this year. Should be able to move into a top 3 in the 1st round with Jax 1st

UPSET! (Hot TAKE but I'm being serious)

If the Hawks end up signing Teven Jenkins to play LG then I really think it takes a lot of pressure to take a G in the first round like Gray Zabel. The board is wide open.

I'm going to throw a wrench ball into things. I have the Hawks taking Tyler Shough. He has pretty similar characteristics to Sam Darnold. I get he's old...but Darnold's contract is likely year to year.

I think the pair of Teven Jenkins and Tate Ratledge are the smash brothers. A couple of 6'6 guards that want to destroy their opponents.
