I like the extra rest between the Thursday and Monday game. Some rest before playing Atlanta sounds pretty good.

Unless they happen after a bye, thursday games are always a short week, which kind of sucks for the travelling team, but at least it's a west coast team so the travel isn't horrible.

Agreed. I dont think it will hurt us staying on the west coast basically for both games. That may be an idea for a game on thurs in zona.

The Texans are as scary as anyone. That is the number one d from last year, and they get Watt back. At least it is a home game. I think they will get revenge on the Packers this year. The Rams have Goff, rookie head coach, lost some d pieces and are converting to 3-4. They may not be as good, but who knows. As always, they will probably lose to one or two unexpected teams. Three or for losses is my pre-draft prediction.

The three road games to start the year are a challenge. We have usually struggled in road openers. Secondary and offensive line will need to be hitting on all cylinders. At Lambeau, which ended our NFL-record of consecutive games without losing by more than 10 points, is an intense start.

Then at Tennessee is a definite trap game. The field will probably be scorching hot. Titans have a great offensive line, a power run game, and a running QB (which is the bane of the 4-3 under defense).

Rams' defensive line has had our number for a while. The LA Coliseum also tends to get very hot at that time of day. So yeah, that's a definite gauntlet of three tough road openers.

Hopefully, they overcome the odds and win four or five of those games before the bye. Otherwise, the bye will be a time of drama and course correction.

I see a best case scenario at 12-4 unless we can get rid of a few gremlins off our back. The O-line will be the key factor once again.

Looks like the NFL is letting up on our Hawks as they come back to the mean average of NFL teams talent wise. Nice to see, shows that the NFL knows the Hawks are good for business and want to keep them in the conversation. Never thought I would say that.

Has anyone noticed we don't have back to back road games at all. That's great

We do have back to back away games once but luckily they come before and after the bye week which is great.

Yeah, the bye week nicely splits up the Rams and Giants road games.

Only back to back road games split up by the BYE. only 10 AM game is against the cupcake Jaguars. TNF game followed by MNF game is great for us, basically a 2nd BYE.

This schedule is great.

Overall, I think this is the Seahawks' easiest schedule since 2013.

I posted this in predict opener thread, but I'll add it here too

Only 1 10am game and maybe just 2 games against teams coming off bye (Texans & SF)

Will be facing 3 Carroll style 4-3 Under defenses in span of 4 weeks....ATL, SF, JAX. Should be interesting.

Well before we say that lets see the draft and which FA's signed after cut downs and the June deadline, things can change quickly, also the Pre Season has a way of changing expectations, with coaching changes and the "I" bug hitting.
