2 world records, another earthquake, angry letters to the editor, and COUNTLESS articles and news stories about Seahawk fans and the noise.

Even though a bit of it has been negative, all the attention has been pretty fun. I don't recall fans of any team in any sport ever getting season-long attention like the 12th man gotten this season. Maybe Raiders fans back in their rioting heyday or Red Sox fans in that season when they finally won the world series. Regardless...what a fun year to be a Seahawk fan.

One last chance this weekend to cement the legacy. Our finest hour.

Also, a very good thing for the league. It sends a message to other fan bases to come to the game, support your team, and help them win games.

Yes a lot of attention this year, but us fans from the Kindome days know how it all got started and it was a big thing then, NFL put rules in place to gag us. Seems like due to the noise several other venues tried to emulate it artificially and got busted, Minny being one. Weird and unusual things happen when we are on a national stage also for whatever reason, the games get wild or a situation that provokes us. Before the insulated booths the crowd would literally drown out the announceing crews, cameras vibrating etc.

The biggest reason were hearing about the 12th man this year and last year as well is we are a team embraced by the media for a change, hated and loved depending on who's side your on, successful, people want to be a part of that as well. Tough and we have identity on this team, be it Pete the Cheat or Pete the Cheerleader, our druggie DB's, or the Legion of Boom, Earl Thomas and Sherman on their own platform, Marshawn Lynch as Beastmode, his thug look, or Marshawn Lynch as the Candyman with Skittles and being camera shy. Then of Course Percy show me no Mercy Harvin or Percy in the Mercy ward at the Hospital. Last but not least a marketable Franchise QB that people hate because he's so good, good looking, says the right things, does the right things and works his but off. Or the list of those things make you love him.

That is why the 12th Man has grown, that is why our merchandise is the must have.
