So Wyman and bob asked what is the biggest question mark on the Seahawks and they said it’s between the qb and the line. then they said the fans are probably worried about the qb, but wyman says the line. Ol’ @toffee will agree with me that we are set at both positions for now and the future but the line would definitely be the biggest question.
Our Sam is everything that Geno was so we have no need to be concerned about that. We will at least have as good of a play at qb as last year. I think better.
But is the O-line really the biggest question mark? Honestly, I wanna know what our WR/TE are gonna look like. I wanna see what cooper Kupp is and Arroyo.
There’s other things I can’t wait to see also like Byron Murphy act 2 and Lawrence. I can’t wait.

Even Kubiak. He’s a question

For me (not an area of concern by any stretch) the biggest question is, does the defense continue it's ascension and become a top tier unit in the league. Trending upwards by the end of the year last season, but do they make the next step to the top? Can't wait to see what happens.

I'm in the Darnold camp when it comes chief concerns. Of course the line play and receiving corp will play into that. I'm just wary if he'll be as good as we need him to be at critical times and in critical games. I think it's fair to be cautious about my hopes for him and our offense. Nothing would please me more as a fan than to have our offense not be the problem for our team this year, and SD will play a big part in that.

It’s gotta be what Sam Darnold you’re going to get.

The Vikings letting him walk after such a great season only heightens the anticipation.
Both good arguments for the qb?

Because resigning him would be too expensive. They have a QB they like on rookie contract. The best way to build a competitive roster these days is to have a QB you're underpaying for. Washington is a good example. They found a great rookie QB and in one season went from rebuilding to now making aggressive off season moves. Their championship window is open until they have to pay Daniels. The days of marinating a roster for a few seasons are long gone. If you find yourself with a good QB you better win soon before you have to pay him.

I have zero concern about the QB spot, it's only pure excitement. Oh Darnold doesn't live up to the hype? Cool, throw in the best rookie running QB that just happens to have a nuclear arm!

It's ALL about the RG position. Can the new coaches, coach up these guys?

QB, zero worry! We are three deep.
OL, zero worry! This is the year our line live up to Schneider's expectations.

Just thought of something : It will be a fun Game 1 of the Regular season.

It will be the Legion of Boom 2.0 (Hawks) vs. the Legion of Dumb 1.0 (Niners)

What a rush.

Of course Darnold is a question mark. He had one good season and folded like a cheap tent at the end of it when his line regressed and couldn't keep the pressure off of him. Guess where the other question mark lies in Seattle? Yep, the Oline. Drafting a rookie in the 1st and signing JAGS doesn't guarantee an improvement there, but its a start.

Both areas could work out wonderfully or they could both be a disaster. Nobody knows, but i'm hesitant to crown either a wild success already.

I'm as excited about Milroe's potential as anybody, but I think we have to roll with Darnold/Lock this year so that Milroe can fully prepare for 2026. Even Mahomes only played in one game his rookie year. I do hope so see him in special packages, though.

Everything concerns me until it doesn't. That's what makes watching Seattle play every season so exciting. The anticipation of what will happen next. Come success, come failure, I look forward to the each season with neither high expectations or low but just the enjoyment of watching my team play while I charge up the AED unit next to my glass of bourbon or favorite beer. Let's the games begin! 😀

This was my first thought when I read the title. It wasn't will the defense be good, but how good? Will they take that next step to being an elite unit. If they can the offense isn't as much of a concern. I want it to be more of a complete team but the offense is so new in every way it's going to take time. That's why the defense stands out to me.
