Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (vs Jaguars)

Here's hoping that with being 2-5 they let it rip this week and give DK a lot more than 5 targets and Tyler a lot more than 3!

    D Played GREAT

You'll have to remind me where I posted that the loss WAS squarely on the D? (Hint: you won't find it because I never said it). The D looked better overall and I blame Geno and the coaching staff far more for the loss itself...but there were still mind-numbingly stupid things the D did as...

    D Played GREAT

I don't know that it was that as much as it was the Saints taking what Seattle was giving them...which was an inexplicably open Alvin Kamara all night long.

Meh. It Is What It Is.

Very small potatoes compared to the array of major issues facing this team but...anyone else ready for the Freddie Swain punt returning experiment to end? The dude calls for a fair catch EVERY. DAMN. TIME. His final return opportunity last night he had what looked to be nearly 10 yards of...

    Your best Seahawk moments

Loving reading everyone's top moments! One of mine in terms of cool personal favorites: I'm an east coast Hawks fan who finally made the trip out in 2011 to see a game in Seattle. I had seen the Hawks play in person multiple times along the east coast, but had never taken the plunge and gone...

Do you realize the hawks have no standout DL Player ??

The Alton Robinson stuff is the most egregious IMO. The dude seems to disrupt every time he sees the field, yet he somehow doesn't regularly crack the rotation in an underperforming unit. And Pete's answer when asked why Robinson played only 1 snap last week was infuriating. His exact quote...

Seahawks 1st Rd Picks since 2016

Budda is a great player and I certainly wish he was on the Hawks' side. That said...a couple things: The Hawks still had Earl, Kam (his injury happened later in what was Baker's rookie year) and McDougald before the draft ever happened in 2017, and had just signed Kam to a big $$ 3 year...

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (vs Saints)

Jameis is gonna give the Hawks chances to make plays. If they make a few and keep Kamara from running wild...I could definitely see them stealing this game. If it's another go around of Geno not being willing/allowed to take ANY chances, dropping d-linemen in to coverage all night, etc...well...

Ok, straight up Wilson For Carr.??

I'll give Derek Carr this: I'd take him over Ryan Fitzpatrick. Congrats Derek. :179422:

Am I literally the only person who...

Normally I'd totally agree, but Dallas was often rumored to be interested in him and never did anything...I doubt that has changed given the massive raise he's gotten and the fact that he's underperforming.

Am I literally the only person who...

No team in their right mind is trading anything for Adams right now that would make it worth it to deal him. On top of his performance this year thus far (which is of course in part to the unit as a whole lacking overall talent), he's already forced his way off of one team and is now at the top...

Pete Carroll: Seahawks reached out to Cam Newton

I know people don't like him (myself included), but there is zero doubt Cam would be an upgrade over Geno. I appreciate and respect the hell out of the effort Geno has given so far, but Cam is simply better. I still don't think current Cam would get us where we need to go, since without Russ...

Still steaming about Watt not getting ejected.

I agree for the most part, but it was still pretty nuts. I appreciate playing to the whistle and trying to make a play, etc...but Watt was particularly over the top on this one.

Which trade was most harmful? (Poll)

Almost. The hawks gave up the 2 firsts, a third and McDougald, and received Adams and a 2022 4th. But yeah...awful regardless.

Which trade was most harmful? (Poll)

The thing about the Adams trade (and of course the wound is also the freshest so I can't discount the possibility that that is influencing me at least some) is that there was no indication that I'm aware of that there were any other SERIOUS suitors. Even assuming there were...I just cannot...

Doesn't seem this thread gets much action but it's a slow morning so I'll give it a shot anyway: Name: Chris Born: DC 'burbs of MD many moons ago Reside: Richmond, VA Age: 33 Occupation: Investigator Favorite All-Time Seahawk: Very tough choice, but would have to lean Marshawn Lynch Favorite...

    Thank you Tre

Tre was a huge bright spot last night. Loved watching him play fearless, smart football. He looks like a glimmer of hope going forward in an otherwise rough tertiar....I mean secondary.
