    Draft Pick #188 —> #199 & 242

Nah, I was thinking about when the Vikings took Joe Webb in 2010. He had some moments.

2026 DRAFT PICK #199: WR Emmanuel Henderson JR

When I saw your name was the last to comment in this thread, I assumed you'd be excited.

2026 DRAFT PICK #199: WR Emmanuel Henderson JR

First Team All Big 12 as a return specialist. I think we're just going to put a half-dozen guys back there to receive kicks and make the other team have to decide on the fly what we're doing. A little outside the box, but I like that.

    6th Round

Only two. Plus a number of charges related to them. He's probably fine. What he IS though is 6'8" 330 and fast.

    2026 DRAFT PICK #148: G Beau Stephens

Those bad things are good for us. A guy with his production doesn't fall without them.

Zaxavian Harris or Caden Curry would be cool.

    We traded

I correctly declared Milroe a bust BEFORE we drafted him. If anything, I'm becoming more patient.

Pick #199? I feel like that was decent once.

    2026 DRAFT PICK #148: G Beau Stephens

Is next year's draft expected to be worse in the mid-rounds? Usually when people talk about "draft strength" they're talking about the top tier. Regardless, this is one player, not a whole draft.

    2026 DRAFT PICK #148: G Beau Stephens

Good pick. One of the reasons I was annoyed we passed up Dunker was because it seemed like the board felt like it fell perfectly for us getting a quality offensive lineman who fits our system from that program. Glad we made a move to get another.

Alright, turns out I'm stupid and could have sworn we still had a fourth round pick and thought people were suggesting taking another RB there. Sixth round? Yeah, take who you think is good. My bad.

That makes sense, but if Ty Simpson had been there at 32 and Schneider thought very highly of him, do you think that's the pick? I don't think teams use picks and capital expected to contribute to potentially replace players they expect to be great contributors already.

Exactly. "Weak RB room", means they consider the guys who were there "weak".

He's expected to miss like maybe half the season at most. Especially after taking Price, they shouldn't be THAT worried about it where it's dictating mid-round selections, which this team has a recent history of hitting out of the park.

    Draft Chat Round 4

Some notes on these picks: - Geno has some competition in a guy who was just as awful as he was last year. - NFL Network just compared someone the Colts drafted to Christian Haynes. Ouch.

Anyone else USED to like "Renegade"?

It means unspoken. Like obviously they aren't going to announce they don't think the other RBs can do the job, but actions speak louder. Id agree with you if we're talking about them taking a seventh rounder they like, which they did last year, but you expect a fourth rounder to make the team...

If we take a second running back in the fourth round, it feels like tacit admission that they have no faith in anyone other than Charbs.

Not sure how you could know that without knowing who might be available. If anything, it makes more sense in years where you don't have many picks.

    We traded

Does that not apply to literally every player we draft in that range?
