    Free agency starts March 17th. If the Hawks don't franchise Geno or give him a contract by than, he is gone and that first pick will be a QB. The percentage chance goes waaaay down of an early QB if there is a contract in place.

    Its all perspective. If at the start of the season, someone were to say "The hawks will get the 5th overall pick", we would have been fired up. I get the idea how the play would diminish due to the playoffs not being on the table. However these guys are still playing for their next contract...

    A few times the refs were letting SG get away with murder. However he must have been step for step the whole game with DK because Geno rarely threw his way. If they give it to SG, I would understand. He has the most batted balls in the NFL.

    Admittedly I am a bit frustrated but I think the whole D-Line needs to go. Flashes of excellence every 4th game from a player doesn't do it for me anymore...and I feel thats all we are getting from every D-lineman.

    A full draft, rounds 1-7 cost 12 million next year (I was told). Geno will hit the market and cost 25-35 million. The math and Geno's up and down play says to draft the best QB possible.

    You nailed it...and that sucks. However, the Packers go against the 3 lose Vikings and the red hot Lions. The Packers don't scare anybody so I am still confident that if the Hawks win out, they are going to the show.
