    PFF's opinion on Murphy

Put it this way, Gervon Dexter (Bears) is playing better than Murphy. He is a starter, not rotational level guy. He was drafted second round.

    PFF's opinion on Murphy

He needs to step it up next season. Don’t spend a first round pick on a backup quality player.

    Poll: QB 2025

I vote none of the above. Play Geno and keep drafting QBs til you find one.

    Bo Nix

Jake Curhan was horrible in that game. He was cut in training camp and should have stayed that way. No wonder Seahawks got rid of him or that Poles brought him to Chicago. Poles specializes in bringing in cast-off OL like Curhan, Nate Davis, Leatherwood, Bates, … list goes on ad on.

    Bo Nix

I don’t have any problem with Odunze as a player, but Bears would have been better to trade down with the Seahawks and end up with two of the four offensive linemen desperately needed.

    Bo Nix

Bears had #9 pick with Odunze. I wanted to trade that to the Seahawks and draft an offensive lineman. Hawks could have had Nix instead of Murphy. You okay with that?

    Bo Nix

I wanted to trade up in draft to get Nix. He is fundamentally solid. They said he can’t throw deep. He threw 67-yd. TD pass today.

Just how bad is Caleb Williams?

I am not watching the video. Bears have garbage offensive line, horrible coaching. Williams needs to work on getting the ball out to avoid sacks and improve accuracy.

Poll: The Biggest Problem On Offense Is…

I vote IOL. If those guys can’t protect for at least 2.5 seconds, Geno will have problems executing whatever play Grubb calls. The Bears have same problem, as you saw last night.

    Fire Ryan Grubb NOW

I know it was raining, but the play calling was way too conservative. Bears almost won the game. It should not have been this close. But “sell the team” might finally get Poles fired….the only good thing Bears fans can take away.

    Anyone would think we lost...

Amazing fact. There were more punts than points in this game. 13-9.

    Anyone would think we lost...

I thought the game was closer than it should have been due to Seahawks ultra conservative play calling. Run, screen, run, no deep routes all night. I’m happy the Hawks won to make Rams/Cards game interesting. This is NFL — anything can happen.

THE BEARS GAME IS NOT MEANINGLESS!

Bears are almost coachless and have lost 9 in a row. A win is nearly meaningless, but a loss sure would mean the Seahawks are not ready for playoff football.

    Who do we bench/start?

Do you expect the team to be fired up or flat for the Bears game? I said on the Bears forum the team that comes out fighting harder will probably win. Also, after watching both teams all year, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a sloppy game full of penalties and turnovers. Maybe a fight between...

The bears game is pretty much meaningless

The Bears and Seahawks should be competing this year in free agency and the draft for offensive linemen. It should be target as #1 need. This game could decide who gets ahead in the draft. They can't both lose the game! If Bears drop out of top-10, they may go for Edge and leave Seahawks more...

The bears game is pretty much meaningless

Bears need to lose this game to get too-10 draft pick. It may also help get Poles fired. 2/3 of my Bears forum wants Poles fired for neglecting the offensive line. Um, where have I heard that before?

    Geno Smith

I already knew that and wanted to move up and try to get Nix. Howell fans objected. Geno aside, there is just too many sloppy mistakes. There were, for example, 7-8 presnap penalties to put Geno in a hole on first down. Still, the offense finally got a lead in 4Q but defense couldn’t hold.

    QB for 2025 season

Geno will be a 36-yr old free agent after the 2025 season. What then? Howell? Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant, right? We don’t have to take a QB in first round, but at least buy a lottery ticket on one in 2025 and 2026.

    QB for 2025 season

You never get a hit if you never take a shot. The default is Howell. If not now, when?

    Realistic Expectations for Sam Howell

Seahawks need to draft a QB. Howell is not the future franchise quarterback. The question is whether he’s even a viable backup QB.
