Was that Pete's last game in Seattle?

I don't see Jody as a weak person, or an incompetent owner. Or lacking the acumen to run a business. She seems like a capable smart person. But that doesn't = great NFL owner with the driving passion to win at all costs. She was gifted an NFL franchise, and on the surface seems perfectly...

Was that Pete's last game in Seattle?

Correct, and unfortunately I see way too many soft defenders like Woolen who aren't giving 100%, especially when it comes to tackling. Not to single him out, but he seems to be the most egregious of what I'm talking about. Needs more dogs on the D, that's for sure.

    Players who are gone

I could see us signing Brooks back on a 2-3 year deal.........and I can see Lockett doing a restructure at a much more team friendly deal. I also see a cut or restructure in Dissly's future. Not his fault, but he makes WAY too much money for a blocking TE that's way under utilized in the pass...

Was that Pete's last game in Seattle?

When players like Lockett drop the cliches like "we didn't see these things on film," and "effort wasn't there," and all the other excuses players and coaches use because they don't want to say the real reasons they lost. Which usually revolve around lack of talent, poor coaching and lack of...

    Great Season!

I think you're being sarcastic......but this attitude is why most of the sports owners in our town are perfectly fine with not doing whatever it takes to win. Golly gee sports fans who think 54% is just fine guys we'll get em next year!!

Was that Pete's last game in Seattle?

Nah, I think we get another off season of meaningless coordinator firings and Pete promises to fix all the things he hasn't been able to fix in almost a decade now. I don't think Jody has the stomach to shake up the organization the way it needs to be shaken up. Not if her intent is to sell in...

    Perhaps Jody should sell now

    Idk what this means.

    Perhaps Jody should sell now

This is all just a word salad that's not addressing why these threads are created..........because fans want a coaching change. No one thinks the Hawk's organization isn't financially stable, or the internal operations aren't run well. This is about a very large segment of the fans and media...

    Perhaps Jody should sell now

What information would you like us to gather before deciding a coaching change is needed, other than what we're seeing on the field? Which is a team that just had the biggest two consecutive drafts in franchise history............yet are still not improving, and in fact regressed this year...

    Perhaps Jody should sell now

Maybe Jody is fully engaged in the Hawks, but when you're an owner and aren't front and center in press conferences, draft rooms, sitting in your luxury box and walking the sidelines during games? Then you can't blame the media and fans for thinking you don't care all that much and are just...

    Old fans like me

Seattle is like most major diverse metropolitan cities surrounded by insane beauty and activities............when our teams are good we quit boating, mountain climbing, hiking and kayaking and support them extremely well. But when our sports teams are bad, we find other stuff to do. NY has...

    NFLPA claims Denver acted illegally

Telling a starting QB they're benched if they don't waive an injury clause in their contract happens all the time? Please give me another example of that happening.

One more reason to dump Pete after the season

The Smirk and Shanny, one of my favorite radio morning shows ever.

Players look like they didn't care about winning. (OPINION)

It's like a rock band, you can be dysfunctional, fight and act like idiots as long as you're making great music and kicking ass on stage. That was the SB Hawk years, bunch of dysfunction...........but when they stepped over the line they balled out and played together as a team. Now we got the...

Players look like they didn't care about winning. (OPINION)

What did Pete say after the game, something to the effect that he didn't like the way the team reacted. That's code for "we got punched in the mouth and still played like the soft team we've been all year." Of which he's the architect and coach of, so not sure why he's confused and annoyed...

    NFLPA claims Denver acted illegally

The NFLPA disagrees with your contract legality expert opinion. Either way it's a classless move by a classless organization that's now run by a classless coach who has a sordid history for doing shady crap. So I wouldn't put it past Payton to give no F's about what he was doing is a...

    NFLPA claims Denver acted illegally

I'm no fan of how Russ left Seattle, but trying to bully one of your players into signing off on his injury clause............a clause YOUR organization was just fine with two years ago is pretty damn crappy IMO. So I'm glad the Broncos are going to get spanked, and their stupid dumb ass...

    Old fans like me

I'm all for a coaching change, I also think it's time. But fans are fixating on the wrong part of the equation today, and frankly the past couple of years. Successful organizations start from the top down, so like I said above until we have a unified ownership group that's present and 100%...

    NFLPA claims Denver acted illegally

It's so weird that Sean Payton would have a total disregard for the NFL conduct rules.
