Never said it wasn't fixable. But it's a problem now. And you don't solve problems without first acknowledging they exist.

    SERIOUS Sam Darnold Narratives?

He's the 3rd best QB left in the playoffs, and likely the 3rd best QB of the playoffs.

    Rams @ Bears

Majority of the QBs don't blow the several scoring opportunites Caleb did. He made the big play. But he blew it on several little plays that would have translated into 14-17 points, so he wouldn't have needed that hero throw TD.

    Rams @ Bears

The problem with Caleb, he isn't consistent. They come from behind often. But they also pee away possessions. Unless Caleb gets a stacked D, this is as far as they likely go. For a long time. You get great plays playing that way. But you cannot depend on the offense. Their defense did...

    Rams @ Bears

They weren't smart enough to cover Puka on a short throw. Wishing for a turnover probably won't help them.

    Rams @ Bears

Terrible play call by the Bears on that INT. Terrible throw. They were gashing the Rams with short throws all the way up the field - and they threw into coverage, long, for no reason. That is the problem with Caleb. Makes the spectacular plays. Struggles with the easy ones. Very Russell...

    Rams @ Bears

3rd and 4, going for the TD pass? From the 20? The decisionmaking...is...odd. EDIT: To be fair, I didn't expect they were just planning the 'run your QB back 20 yards, run around, heave toward the EZ for the TD' play that always worked for me in Madden as a kid.

    Rams @ Bears

Swift isn't a power back. Not sure what that series was. And their backs are far too far from the LOS. Have to eat a lot of yards just to get to the LOS. It's a weird tactic. Feels like running w Caleb would have been better? Since he is your star?

    Rams @ Bears

Yep. And then again, in the Texans game - barely a replay. Correctly ruled it a catch.

    Texans @ Patriots

Yep. The QB has been shaky and throwing behind the receivers all day. So what does he call on a pivotal drive in the late 4th? A long pass that has almost no chance at being caught. Bear in mind they have less starting WRs than the 49ers. Eff it. Unleash the Dragon like the 2nd coming of Rex...

    Texans @ Patriots

I feel bad for the Texas D. (Don't agree they are as good as the Hawk D. But I think they are closest to us) But my god. The Texas OC is a moron. Literally takes the worst approach in whatever game I see. Plays that demand a pass? Run. Plays where a run makes more sense? Pass. Unless it is...

That worked. Let's NEVER do that again.

You always rush the QB. Never give them a free shot at the EZ. Setting yourself up for a lucky catch or stupid penalty. I even hate just rushing 3. Rush 4 and protect the sidelines. Don't set yourself up for a 'lucky' play to screw you.

Like the deep shot to #22

I hated it. Take the top off on 1st or 2nd. We needed points out of that drive. Instead, the 49ers got points. Look, the 49ers are not scared of that play. Darnold barely has 50 yards AT THE HALF. He is either injured or worse. Threatening the defense with an ineffective QB makes no sense when...

1 TD is not going to win this. 2 won't.

The long throw on 3rd and 2 was a backbreaker. Not sure what the plan was. But the special teams is pulling their weight. The defense is pulling their weight, if not forcing turnovers. The offense has 1 TD and 1 FG. Not enough considering the short fields being delivered. Purdy is playing...

    Tip O’ The Cap

That buzzsaw better score more than 13 points. That won't fly in this next game. That said, a hell of an accomplishment by the 49ers. For all the crap we give Purdy, on a day they could not run at all...he came through, 2 INTs or no. Didn't shrink and led that last drive perfectly. I might...

#5 Oregon vs #1 Indiana The Peach Bowl

I think most college football fans are rooting for Indiana. Because while NIL does prevent the blue bloods from stockpiling talent, the transfer portal allows them to siphon off stars. Most schools cannot get a kid, develop him, watch him blossom - to finally pay off for the program and fans...

#5 Oregon vs #1 Indiana The Peach Bowl

The SEC being dominant was more a carefully crafted illusion. The played the sisters of the poor and blind as their non-conf opponents and then did PR blitzes to assure that more SEC teams started with top 25 rankings. They also avoided having their best teams play each other until the...

#5 Oregon vs #1 Indiana The Peach Bowl

I disagree. When you beat top ten teams in the CFB playoffs by over 30 points each? You are a powerhouse. IU looks like it goes down as one of the all time better college teams. Maybe not as many NFL players on that team as some of the all time greats but they might have an all time great...

#5 Oregon vs #1 Indiana The Peach Bowl

I'll say the same thing I said when Indiana waxed Bama. I don't think it mattered who the opponent was. Indiana would have done the same thing to any school they faced. I don't think the coach, whether Kalen or Dan, could stop it. Indiana is like this crazy crimson and cream Anaconda. It just...

    Demond-UW-LSU fiasco

It's worse. He is accurate on the run, athletic, and great as a running threat. But he makes poor decisions. (sacks, ints, etc) QBs that make poor decisions are a liability.
