    Wrong, I took my laptop and ran the play, perfect angel. Stopped the replay when the ball left his hands and the center was 2 yards downfield. Penalty should have stood! You can only be one yard downfield in the NFL, this is not college

    When they were reviewing the catcher blocking home plate one of the announcers mentioned the umpire and Cal having contact after he crossed home plate. They did not show it in the replays, but that would be a possible reason for holding his side.
