    I’m not at all blaming Russ for everything. But he did play like crap in the 2020 game against the Rams. And yes, it definitely could be because Rams had a much superior coach.

    How many playoff games has he been in? One, and yeah it wasn’t pretty against a more talented Rams team. It happens! Last time Russ led us to the playoffs he absolutely crumbled much worse than Sam did versus the Rams.

    Correction, the Vikings were 14-3 last year. That was an incredible season, and I remember the team carrying Sam around the locker room after their last W. I agree with everything else you said. I remember thinking McCarthy was a massive reach in the first round, though I also thought Nix was too.

    He has a chance to beat the Rams twice this year. Let’s hope our O Line starts to improve after the bye. I know the pass blocking has been legit, but we really need to get the running game going to complement his elite passing skills.
