Ruskell did set that one up, but Hutch is the one who accepted it.
This is Sam’s revenge game. K9 back on track for 100+ yard game. Defense finally gets a few interceptions. Spoon, Nick?
Hawks 34-10
Oh totally. I remember how much hope I had for that 02 team, I was convinced they’d be in a SB ASAP. Imagine how different it’d be if KRob reached his expectations
Does it get you off to be a hater? Sam had other big games did just fine - see smoking us last year on SNF. He will have more and he’ll do just fine. Might have another crumbler, but shit happens.
I still think Kubiak did him no favors yesterday; where was the play action? No quickouts or dump offs? Also, I noticed he did have a huge win his freshman year bowl game while at USC over Penn State. What about the "big" games over GB last year? He also smoked Macdonald's legit defense here in...
Those are two great ones. I can’t even possibly imagine anything better. Good call! I have such nostalgia from each of those defining wins in much different ways, of course
How was Olu at Michigan? I understand he won the award and all, but was he a dominant road grater ever? Not like it necessarily transcends much the pros but still good to know some Intel.
LFG! This team is beyond legit, and still isn’t full strength. Today was the time to get get running game going, next week is for the conquering of the Rams.
Also, has that 2x sack fumble by EXACT SAME PEOPLE ever happened?
I’m not at all blaming Russ for everything. But he did play like crap in the 2020 game against the Rams. And yes, it definitely could be because Rams had a much superior coach.
How many playoff games has he been in? One, and yeah it wasn’t pretty against a more talented Rams team. It happens! Last time Russ led us to the playoffs he absolutely crumbled much worse than Sam did versus the Rams.
Correction, the Vikings were 14-3 last year. That was an incredible season, and I remember the team carrying Sam around the locker room after their last W.
I agree with everything else you said. I remember thinking McCarthy was a massive reach in the first round, though I also thought Nix was too.
Yeah, he would not mend well with this team. Likely wouldn’t be as good as we are right now. Don’t hate on me, just seems more fluid without him. Time to move on, just like Geno, etc..
He has a chance to beat the Rams twice this year. Let’s hope our O Line starts to improve after the bye. I know the pass blocking has been legit, but we really need to get the running game going to complement his elite passing skills.
