    Yes. I always root for the team whose win would benefit the Hawks more. Not that this has any effect on the game whatsoever, but watching is much more enjoyable when I have a rooting interest.

    Sure, 10 days off for a team following a Thursday night game is fairly standard around the league. But how many of those Thursday night games were the third contest within 11 days for a given team? I think that's what the OP was going for here.
