    Seahawks Sign Jonathan Bullard

Considering how well teams are throwing against us, why not?

    Hawks sign Snacks!

Yep, he would have to be. He might only be on the PS this week.

    Hawks sign Snacks!

It will likely take a few weeks to get him ready to go. They had 2 spots open on the PS, so this way he doesn't EAT (see what I did there?) up a spot on the 53 until he is ready. Good roster management.

Time to give Ben Burr-Kirven a shot???

Debatable, but probably true. I'm not sure I'm ready to go with "stud" special teamer, either. Need to see a lot more impact plays.

Time to give Ben Burr-Kirven a shot???

I don't think BBK is an every down NFL linebacker. 6'0" and 230 lbs is going to get washed out all the time. He is really a core special teams guy, but "maybe" they can work on him being a hybrid safety or a pass rush specialist? I don't know... I still think it was an odd draft choice.

If Russell Wilson isn't the MVP this year...

There are 13 regular season games left... let's chill. And I'll take another Lombardi over an MVP any day.

    Trap game vs the Dolphins

Actually, the Dolphins are graded as the worst coverage defense in the NFL by PFF, yes, even worse than ours.

    Trap game vs the Dolphins

Ironically, this team is at its best in 10 am Pacific start times on the East Coast. I think we have won the last 9 (playoffs included) of those. "Trap games" are for weak mental teams. That's not this one.

    Josh Gordon

He's already on the roster, just on the reserve suspended list.

So What Do We Do About This Defense?

And what did Clowney, Griffen and Ngakoue end up signing for? I'll wait while you look it up. Were Olsen, Finney and Dorsett pressing needs? Depth is important. Having a great pass rush is important, too. Although looking around the league so far, maybe defense isn't as critical as it...

So What Do We Do About This Defense?

People might be overrating Dan Quinn just a bit. If he is such a guru, how come he has never had a good defense in Atlanta? In Seattle, the dude had a defense with Cliff Avril, Michael Bennett, Red Bryant, Chris Clemons, Brandon Mebane, Tony McDaniel, Clinton McDonald, Bruce Irvin, Bobby...

New England Pass Defense is pretty good

Yeah, and our pass offense appears to be damn good. Strength vs strength.

    Jordyn Brooks

And they drafted Brooks, so there is nothing we can do about it now. Can't undo it.
  15. FlyingGreg

    Jordyn Brooks

I wouldn't necessarily say a "stable". We have Carson, Hyde, Penny, Homer and Dallas. Hyde is the veteran, and Carson has lots of wear and tear already -- both will likely be gone after this season. Penny is on the PUp and out for the first 6 games, and he has all kinds of question marks...

    Jordyn Brooks

He only had 7 defensive snaps.

    On to next week

Patriots offense is Cam (who we always play well), Edelman, Michel and dump offs to James White. I'm more concerned with their defense.

The Seahawks have now won 9 straight 10am starts.

East Coast trips in general. It wasn't a 10 am start, but we also beat Philly again in Philly in the playoffs. We were actually much better on the road last season (7-1) than at home (4-4).

Twitter rando calls RW "narrow skill set QB", gets dunked

I'm not going to get excited about some random Irish dude's Tweets. Stick to FUTBOL.

    Reed Already Has an Injury?

Get used to it. No formal off-season, no OTAs, no rookie camp, no mini-camp, truncated training camp with limited full reps, no pre-season games... There are going to be a lot of injuries league wide.
