    Harvin - "ailing hip"....(labrum)

Remember, we can get out if this deal after this year. If it's catastrophic, and they feel he won't be the same player, then we had a really unfortunate break come our way. Russell Wilson is such a monumental fortunate break, that we would need a dozen more doomsday Harvin scenarios to come...

    2013 Most Improved Seahawk nominees.

KJ Wright - he makes the pro bowl this year. Honorable mention: Sidney Rice. He's gonna benefit most from Harvin. Look what he did in Minnesota with Favre. They had AP, so they weren't throwing every play. He scores 12 TDs this year.

Who are your favorite "forgotten" past Seahawks?

Rufus Porter doesn't get mentioned too often. I also like the Brian Blades call. Forget all about him

Will Seattle win the division in 2013?

This is the best Seattle team in my 27 years as a fan. Any sport. The mid-nineties Sonics were the only team I've ever rooted for that I truly believed was as good as any other in their respective league, and they kinda proved me right. They missed when Jordan was gone, then gelled and ran into...

    Post draft Super Bowl odds.

Uhhhhhh..... I was in Vegas 3 weeks ago and there was not a chance of getting odds this good on any of these teams. I went to 8 casinos and checked the sportsbooks in all of them and didn't find SF at better than 4:1 anywhere and couldn't find anywhere better than 11:2 on Seattle. In fact...

    ESPN.com Power Rankings

Man, I absolutely love being considered one of the elite teams in the NFL. I've been a Seattle sports fan for 25 years and the only time I felt we had an elite franchise was the mid 90s Sonics. They threw up on themselves when they had a Jordan-less NBA and ran into the best team in history when...

Instant Reaction: Rate the Harvin trade

Man, I don't get the crowd that thinks it cost a lot. We traded a first round pick and a 3rd round pick essentially for a superstar playmaker, who is 24 years old today. Look at what Atlanta gave up for Julio Jones and he hadn't played a down in the NFL. Russell Wilson and Percy Harvin, two...

    UPDATED: Harvin's contract 6y/$67m $14.5m guaranteed

Tom Brady spreads the ball all over the place and Wes Welker still gets 150 targets a year. I know they throw a lot more, but Percy is gonna get a 100 reception season or two with this offense. I'm sure of it. He's too damn good.

Florio speculates Sidney Rice may be released

Beat me to it. Florio's a schmuck. What he doesn't seem to care about is they have cap room THIS year. Rice and Miller's deals are much more cap friendly this year. If we're going all in to win now, it would be ridiculous to cut Rice. Look at his numbers with harvin and favre in minnesota.

UPDATE: Seahawks traded for Percy Harvin

Beat me to it. His migraines are a thing of the past also. Football players get injured. Ryan Mathews is an example of a guy that can't stay healthy. Percy Harvin sprained his ankle last year. Big whoop. If you don't trust Pete and John by now, knowing what they know about this team, it's...

UPDATE: Seahawks traded for Percy Harvin

My goodness, I love this deal! Wow. Percy Harvin is an elite talent in this league. Matching him with a talent like Wilson is a scary proposition for opposing defenses. I'd trade the 25th pick in the draft 100 times out of 100 times to acquire a one of a kind player like Percy Harvin. Russell...

Why do you think Bevell put the training wheels back on RW?

Great post until you laid any blame on Wilson. The sack was inevitable, the minute he hit his back foot on his drop, he was sacked, if he throws it away, it's intentional grounding. Hesitating on reads? Not keeping the ball? You're stretching. A lot. He was the ONLY reason we came back from that...

    49ers-Seahawks to be flexed

Whoa, I planned my first trip to the Clink for the Niners game back in early October. Got the tickets last week. I thought at the time it had a real good shot of getting flexed and meaning something. Now it's actually getting flexed to prime time??? That's neat. I can't wait to not have a voice...

Anybody catch Cris Carter on Mike & Mike this morning?

The team was so bad because they did not have an even halfway competent qb behind Manning. And they were in a ton of close games that their offense couldn't pull out because their qb wasn't competent. They also shut down guys down as early as they could and were dedicated to getting the #1 pick...

Sports Nation Poll: Offensive Rookie of the Year

I have a legitimate man-crush on Russell Wilson, but RG3 is a superstar. He went 14-15 yesterday, for 200 yds and 4 tds. As well as 84 yds rushing. For all of us that keep talking about efficiency, passer rating and TD/int ratio, RG3 is better than Wilson in all 3 of those categories. He's the...
