    RW'S WR'S

First, I agree that Golden is replaceable, I think that between Baldwin, Kearse, Harvin plus the rest, I believe that we will easily be able to replace his statistics; but let's not forget that Golden was also, always locked against teams best cover man, and if it hadn't been for a bad push off...

Someone on another board said the below, what do you think?

I completely agree with your assessment, my problem is with the fact that people think he's in need of so much...

    McQuistan to Browns

Very true. It's also not really his fault that he's not very talented...at least he was versatile and played hard. I won't be shedding any tears over him moving on, but I am grateful for what he did, he was a useful cog that provided depth all over the line.

2014 NFC West will be the battle of the birds.

I'm tempted to agree that the Cards might be the next best team(I haven't ruled out the Rams completely either for that matter) but the Niners will still be a tough, tough team. The problem with picking the Cards ahead of the Niners or anyone else for that matter is, no matter how good the rest...

Am I The Only One Advocating Luke Willson to WR?

The problem with this idea is that you're misunderstanding why we drafted him to play the TE position, and you're missing a basic understanding of the position itself. Firstly, you need to understand that there are (at least) two different ways that teams normally use TE's. You have the typical...

PFT Bennet to sign with Bears....

I think you're right in principle, that is exactly what we'll need to do. I think you're way off on Bobby Wagner though, he'll get locked up long term, mark it down! He's absolutely a cornerstone piece.

Off season prediction: 49ers will go after Bennett

Looks like a great call. Of course, the fact that they spent the entire offseason sniping each others players ought to have clued us all in. Anytime the Seahawks have a player they really want, it's a sure bet the niners will be there to try to screw it up.

    Lack of Superbowl Experience

Nope, the lack of experience is a GOOD thing. ALL the pressure is on Manning, from the media demanding that he get another victory in order to be considered the best, (which is incredibly stupid BTW...pure media mindlessness at its best). The Broncos have to win one for Manning, win one for...

    Kam Chancellor

I see what you did there, and I like it!

"Must be Horrifying for the rest of the NFL"

Exactly! Who says we don't need Winfield? We're an injury to a corner away from having some real issues in terms of depth, so of course this is a good idea. Plus, Winfield is one of the good guys....would love to see him get a ring with this team!!!

Why are we fretting over the Saints game?

Who's worried? I'm not at all. Never have been. While the world will be focusing on the matchup of the Saints offense vs. Seahawks defense, the game will ultimately be decided in the Seahawks favor by the overlooked, complete MISMATCH of the Seahawks offense vs. the Saints defense!

Are the Seahawks being targeted for player "issues"?

No the Seahawks aren't "targeted" Browner and Thurmond were already wearing targets! Look at the length of the suspensions announced, then look at the collective bargaining agreement, and you'll realize that, those two were already being drug tested frequently as a part of the NFL's drug abuse...

NFC West, Best in the league?

What do you mean "back to being"? The NFC West always was the best division this year.

    Q&A with Saints Fans/Seahawks-Saints Game Preview ...

Since you've adopted that sort of tone, I'll adopt a similar one to ask my question. Seeing as how the personnel on the Saints defense is essentially exactly the same as what they had last year, when they were quite possibly the worst defense in the entire NFL (they were horrible at everything...

How do we slow down Drew Brees?

Nah, if we were going to go away from our scheme just to stop one guy, I'd let Chancellor do it, he's fast, good in coverage, and tougher than any other safety, (tougher than most linebackers). Kam would get the job done. I don't think we need to alter what we do to beat them though.

    Saints thread of interest...

Monkey stomp...sounds like a plan to me. BTW, I realize that we're all aware of this but, they sound no more confident in their team, at their fan forum, than we do in ours. Just saying, of course the Saints fans believe they can beat us. Sure they're delusional, but that's part of being a fan...

NFL Network asking to give RW a new nickname

That's the one I would go with! Why do people try to give out nicknames anyway. These things should sort of happen spontaneously rather than contrived.
