    Marcel Reece

I expect him to be swapped into the roster any time, because we need stronger backfield blocking right now. When the OL learns to block better and work together effectively, we might see Tre brought back because he is former halfback and good receiver, and might add more offense then. Tre...

    Why not blame Russell Wilson

Sorry, but this entire analysis is bogus, because it is based on doing arithmetic on ranks, which is nonsensical. Arithmetic requires real numbers, and ranks are not real numbers. Ranks are just orders; this comes before that, but you don't know by how much. Ranks don't have a zero, and the...

    Poll: Lane or Griffin?

I agree. And, now we have two decent slot defenders in case we want to play dime against two quick slot receivers. Good development.

    Brutal honesty

    I agree. Excellent summary.

I think they should trade graham

I agree. The core problem of our offense is "Pure stubbornness by our coaching staff to adjust offens"e.

I think they should trade graham

They must have known. They have our defensive line to test our offensive line. Clearly they knew, and stubbornly bulled ahead ignoring that knowledge.

I think they should trade graham

This makes sense. And we could try it immediately if Willson or Vannett are already better blockers. I see our top priority being to protect Russ from injury, and using the awfulness of last year's early season OL, we can estimate that Russ will get hurt twice this year while the OL learns to...

    Ethan Pocic

I would like to see this too. I would start training him immediately at LT, and try him in a game as soon as he catches up to Odhiambo.

Serious points to get the O to produce

I agree completely. Adjusting as you suggest is the obviously right thing to do. Now, why do you think that our offensive coaches did not make this adjustment?

    it could be worse....

I have always believed that Marshawn did exactly what you suggest, with his actions, and without saying a single word.

Serious points to get the O to produce

But our problem is we can't pass block either. The passing attack puts Russ at risk for getting hurt. This whole approach seems braver than smart. Smart would be drafting some good offensive line men, particularly on the blind side.

Serious points to get the O to produce

Is Pete's proclamation to run more that 60% of the time really feasible before the OL learns to block well enough? It will probably begin working in four or five games. Maybe we should just run 100% of the time to maximize our time to learn to block. This would also protect Russ from being...

    The offense has no identity

My guess is that John Schneider and Pete have the vision, and that is why they made that trade. And that Bevell lacks that vision, and Pete for some reason will not force Bevell to use Graham primarily as a receiver. Who does GB have that can defend against a high pass to Graham? We have the...

Ok this needs to be changed

I observed this when the refs gave the Superbowl win to the Steelers against the Seahawks, around 1996. There is big money to made in betting on the NFL game of the week, which is what today's game was.

This Week's Enemy Fan Forums: The Green Bay Packers

This is certainly worth trying to find out if Richardson can overcome being double teamed enough to still collapse the pocket to pressure Rodgers.

    Malik McDowell in the house

They sure can. I think of the brain as a blob of jello inside a glass jar, which you can shake hard to make the jello bounce from side to side, getting damaged with every stretch and compression. Different parts of the brain get damaged depending on which direction you shake the jar, and how...

Doug Baldwin says re: CB Shaq Griffiin

I expect Griffin to stand up pretty well, in large part due to Sheldon Richardson. Pete said that he would start Mike Bennett in the middle with Richardson beside him. I expect our running defense to improve noticeably with Richardson replacing Rubin, and we were first against the run last...

    Malik McDowell in the house

I have been wondering about this too. Being hurt for a long time, facing a long recovery process, is depressing. Given this, him being around a bunch of supportive team members would be mood elevating, and just what the doctor ordered for him. Plus, the pre-draft rap on him was his...

How important is this Packers game?

I have the same hunch. Sheldon Richardson and Bennett will apply pressure up the middle, and our defensive ends will harass Rodgers into a bad game.
