    I Come in Peace

70's-80's, we had a saying that if we went 2-14, but beat the Bears twice, it was a winning season! :D Still sold out every game though and it really wasn't all that bad. With that said, we have now had nearly 20 years of winning seasons. Win, lose or tie, Packer fan till I die!

    I Come in Peace

I think our pass heavy team did pretty well last time we met. But your point is valid. It is not just L.O.B, but that pass rush is pretty solid as well. Great defenses always do well against the better offenses and running the ball is a way to keep possession and keep the other team from...

It was not to be, buddy! We are keeping you in the division hunt by beating these teams. You should start rooting for us! Besides, life is fun when you are a Packer fan! :D

I think it's important for Seattle to come out and take the early lead and hold it. Make Cincinnati one dimensional by having to throw the ball. If Dalton and company can beat the 'Hawks through the air, then they deserve it. They haven't played a defense with a great front four and a defensive...

    I Come in Peace

Welcome Bengals! I have to root for the Bengals this weekend as my Packers need all the help they can get in keeping our NFC foes from getting home field advantage. I have to say, there is something about this match up that is intriguing on both sides of the football. That Seattle defense has...

Letter of the rule (with a Seahawks thought)

There was something about a "batted ball" rule?... :Dunno: We could argue THAT in 40 different threads!!

    You ain't Russell Wilson Kaep

They have a great front 7 but we have a decent OL (Bulaga might be back), a good running game and the best QB in the NFL. Our defense is much improved so I don't think we lose at home to these guys. I doubt we go undefeated but then again, losing in Lambeau is pretty rare these days. It's the...

Letter of the rule (with a Seahawks thought)

Google NFL Horse Collar Rule and the .PDF to all the rules is the first link: Rule 12, Section 2, Article 15 Horse-Collar Tackle. No player shall grab the inside collar of the back or the side of the shoulder pads or jersey pads or jersey, and pull the runner toward the ground. This does not...

    KJ Wright illegal bat

Not right now. They are 0-4 and we have other teams to play before we see them. You have to win the division first before you wrap up any type of home field advantage. Well, at least you admit it was a penalty. Good luck in Cincy.

    KJ Wright illegal bat

Do you mean the play where Green Bay has 3 wide and they make the quick throw to Cobb? The one we used to score 3 times in one game? That is actually legal and if Rodgers hesitates, they throw the flag for blocking downfield. We have had it called back before. It's all timing. As long as the...

    KJ Wright illegal bat

Actually, you are probably correct with regards to part b) but I was going by this which clearly states either in the field of play or in the end zone. http://www.sportsonearth.com/article/15 ... -lions-mnf...

Doesn't matter, still a penalty. It's a penalty and a story no matter what two teams were playing that night and no matter who batted the pass out of the end zone. Besides Clay wouldn't do that, he knows the rules.

    KJ Wright illegal bat

The ball was not even close to being OOB: It probably would have bounced out anyways though: Still KJ should have just grabbed the ball, he was right there. End of game, no story.

    KJ Wright illegal bat

TTxi_gYWyyI It's actually a good rule because then you could just bat the ball all the way down the field or out of bounds. You can't bat the ball and this is why.

Anyone notice Russell trying to be a Rodgers

Only one road matters, my friend.

All roads lead back to Rodgers.

    Wilson losing his luster.

I only caught part of the game but every time I saw him, he was running for his life. Even good running QB's need a pocket to throw from. Well, I think I know where your 1st round pick next year will be spent. Maybe even #2 and #3. But that defense with Kam back his playing lights out. Good...

    Wilson losing his luster.

I think the lack of a decent OL is really affecting his play. The OL isn't even bad....it's hideous.

I knew this was a penalty as well as something similar happened to Green Bay when we played the Steelers a few years back: The Packers got the ball back and on the ensuing play, Eddie Lacy scores a TD. In the end though, the Packers ended up losing that game, but the penalty on that play was...
