    I don' trust SPD enough to do this job. I also don' t see the need for them to be in opposing team's gear. I think they would be more effective in Hawks gear because they could possibly defuse a situation with another 12th man... but then again, defusing a situation is not really SPDs style.

    This is incorrect as far as my experience. While stationed in Germany I went to several soccer matches as well as some NFL Europe games. The locals definitely used various noisemakers. The best was during NFL games and fans would blow a whistle to stop the play. haha
