7th round, Pick #243, Kenny Lawler, WR, Cal

CBS had him ranked the 13th rated WR in the draft and a 3-4 round prospect. Who knows

7th round, Pick #243, Kenny Lawler, WR, Cal

ESPN is about 8-9 picks away, so we must have already picked!

7th round, Pick #243, Kenny Lawler, WR, Cal

I'd go for Ochi out of Stonybrook and give him a shot.

6th Round, Pick #215, Joey Hunt, C, TCU

    About 5 minutes behind. Unbelievable.

6th Round, Pick #215, Joey Hunt, C, TCU

Vadal Alexander or Dominique Robertson are the highest rated OG and OT from the list of available linemen

6th Round, Pick #215, Joey Hunt, C, TCU

Vadal Alexander Maurice Canady Eric Striker Jayron Kearse Tyvis Powell Aaron Burbridge Victor Ochi Keyarris Garrett I just about hit enter and see that Canady was picked by the Ravens. He looked like a Seahawk DB.

5th round, Pick #171, Alex Collins, RB, Arkansas

If our OL can't open holes, it won't matter how many RBs we have. Like someone else said, it's good value based on the round he was projected to go in, but Kyle Murphy was a 3-4 round projection too and is still a much bigger need.

5th round, Pick #171, Alex Collins, RB, Arkansas

They obviously aren't as concerned about the OL as everyone else on the planet seems to be. I was alright with taking one RB, but I would have rather had another OL when they took Prosise. Now I really wish they would have taken one then. Oh well. Time will tell.

This is the guy I was hoping for.

5th round, Pick #147, Quinton Jefferson, DT, Maryland

I don't know that we are loaded at CB. We have bodies, but I don't know that we have a quality #2 CB. Lane is a great slot guy and we have several bodies that are more #3 guys, but our pass D wasn't nearly as good last year. ESPN keeps flashing up that we had 5 lost games that we had the lead...

5th round, Pick #147, Quinton Jefferson, DT, Maryland

Yeah, we always pick a DB in the later rounds of the draft. I'm hoping OL and DB with the next two picks if there is someone of value at the pick.

5th round, Pick #147, Quinton Jefferson, DT, Maryland

I would have rather gone OL instead of another DL guy. Dahl from Wash St. would have been a good value pick. Jefferson is more of a pass rusher, so he might be brought in as a pass rush specialist.

2nd Round, Pick #49 Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama

Love the fact that he brought skittles out to the podium!

2nd Round, Pick #49 Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama

How can you not like this pic? Best run defender in the draft and a good athlete. Great motor and hustle.

    2nd round predictions

I like Booker better than either of the Bama backs. And I really want Jaylon Smith with one of our 3rd round picks. His injuries will definitely heal where Jack's is a potential degenerative situation.

1st Round, Pick #31, Germain ifedi, Tackle, Texas A&M

Look at the trade value chart (Harvard): Pick 26 is worth 700 Pick 31 and 94 : 600 + 124 Pick 34 and 67 : 560 + 255 It's not even close. The Browns and Titans pick before Dallas and it's unlikely that either would have taken Ifedi and we would have moved up from 94 to 67 in the third round.

1st Round, Pick #31, Germain ifedi, Tackle, Texas A&M

If we could have had Dallas' 2nd and 3rd (4th pick in the second and the third), I would have preferred that. Ifedi may not have made it 4 picks down, so that would have been a risky move, but we would have been picking early in the 3rth instead of late.

1st Round, Pick #31, Germain ifedi, Tackle, Texas A&M

Several mocks had us taking Ifedi or Nkemdiche. But there are a LOT of DTs still available and I'd be surprised if one isn't there at our next pick. If not, the list of players left is huge and that doesn't include any QBs that other teams will be going after in the second round. I'd be happy...

    Could we have afforded Clady?

The trade itself didn't cost the Jets much. A fifth for Clady and a seventh wasn't much, but his contract was probably more than we wanted without some restructuring.
