    Freaking out

I've seen a few other people say this same thing, but after the 49ers game I have had a strange sense of calm. Prior to that game, I was a mess, but at this point I have more of a quiet confidence that the boys will take care of their business and we will all be happy folks come Sunday evening.

You might be addicted to the Seahawks if...

You have a dream about the NFCCG where the Hawks win and you are pissed when you wake up because you were just about to talk crap to your 49er friends.

    Super Bowl or NFCC

I'm from So Cal and I went to both the NFCC and Super Bowl in 2006. NFCC was one of the top 5 best days of my life. Will definitely have more fun coming to Seattle. That said, FDNYHAWK makes some good points above seeing that the game is in your back yard. Either way, represent!

    Commentators for Saturday: Buckhardt/Lynch

Lynch does too much ball washing in my opinion, but I actually like that crew.

    the nfc west blog

It's strange, 3 of the nicest guys I know are 9er fans, and yet all the rest I automatically file in the "douchebag" category. Could be because my animosity for the team is so great. I was honestly hoping that Kap would freeze solid yesterday in the cold and then get busted into a million...

    Pro Bowl voting updated numbers?

I seem to remember the actual selection of the teams is something ridiculous, like Papa John and Payton Manning taking turns picking players while spooning each other on Roger Goodell's futon. Fans can call in suggestions on the Domino's hot line. The whole thing is sponsored by Pizza Hut and...

I actually think the Rams win this one.

Thanks to the OP and all the responses. Some well needed laughs.

    Vote for the Beastquake!

Very cool to see all those videos in one place. Earl Campbell putting that Ram on his ass and getting his jersey ripped off was a precursor to the Beast Quake.

Oddest Piece of Seahawks gear you own

Unused Steve Largent pencil from 1983 where they spelled Seahawks wrong.

    Two years ago today...

I was trading phone calls with my brother while watching the game. He called me right after the play, but I was about 15 seconds behind on my DVR. Just as I picked up the phone and said hey, the beast broke free and I dropped the phone, and had an impromptu dog pile on the floor with my 3...

Gems from the 49ers Message Boards

Thanks Fox for putting this together. Exactly what I was looking for. 9ers fans can suck it.

    Over/Under 2...

If it was your usual Sunday announcing yahoos, I would say over for sure. With Al & Chris, I think you have hit the number just about right. If pressed, I would say under.

    2012 vs 2005

2005. First time the Seahawks simply dominated. As Lou Gramm used to sing, Feels like the first time! The thing I remember most about 2005 were the 80 yard drives for TDs which seemed to be almost automatic. Got to say this year has been incredible, save for a couple of meltdowns against...

    Weigh In: The Grey Uniforms

I told my wife, for an indoor game in the month of December, they didn't work for me. Maybe in another environment (rain? snow? night game?) they would look sweet, but I was unimpressed. I love the blue top, white bottom combo.
