    This is what happens

Thank you so much for this post. EXACTLY right. We got put in a position to lose by some bonehead plays by a few different players. It was a great defensive showing for 59 minutes of football. That last drive was a good illustration of exactly why Manning is going to go in the HOF. And our...

Lynch got a dread ripped out

Apparently, that thing that Marshawn picked up on this play was a Dreadlock that TJ Ward ripped out of his head! http://s3.amazonaws.com/br-cdn/temp_ima ... 1411340103

Russell Wilson was taking play calls on the last drive from Bill Walsh! Fire Bevell!

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Broncos @ Seahawks)

I think this one starts as a shoot-out, and the defense doesn't get the game under control until the 4th. Seahawks 37 Broncos 34 Record to Date: 1-1

    We lost our mojo?

Maybe I'm just not remembering right, but I thought most of our pressure all year came from Bennett and Avril. It was time to let Clemmons go even though I loved what he brought the team in previous years. Bottom line is he had lost a step. Doug Baldwin has regressed? After two games, one of...

Paul Richardson - 0 targets, minimal snaps

Maybe. Maybe Richardson isn't that good at running routes yet. You can't just heave the deep ball every pass, and speed won't get you open unless you learn to run your routes well. I trust that Pete knows what he's doing. He's not going to hold a weapon back on a whim. Richardson will get...

    Positive things.

We have an amazing team filled with talented players with a huge amount of determination and grit. Our team is really fun to watch play the game even if they do, like all teams, have some frustrating moments. It's NFL season!

    DOMINATION

We were outplayed but not dominated. We got the ball back with a six point deficit with plenty of time to execute a game winning drive. I don't think there's a team in the NFL that is going to dominate the Seahawks.

Should Percy still be returning kicks?

There's no debate here. Percy is one of the best in the league on a team that depends on explosive special teams play. </thread>

Go Hawks! It's going to be a long week waiting for the Broncos, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the team adapts and grows from that loss :thirishdrinkers: Oh, and bonus...the niners christened their new stadium with a loss! :49ersmall:

    Charger fan lurkers...

Rivers looked immaculate today. I kept waiting for him to force a pass into coverage and give us a pick. Didn't happen. Your team wore our defense out and punished every single mistake we made. Great game, and I look forward to watching the Chargers mix it up in the AFC this year.

What Bothered You Most About This Loss?

    1. Irvin's ridiculous late hit. What the hell, man? 2. Linebackers in coverage. Our LB unit has been pretty great in coverage, but tonight they looked horrible 3. Letting check-downs and dump offs turn into first downs. Our coverage in the flat during the first half was a joke.

Not blaming the refs for this, but...

I hang this loss solely on the Defense. That being said, it seemed to me that their offensive line was mugging our pass rushers on almost every play, and the refs couldn't seem to find their yellow hankies.

Random thoughts on the Chargers game

Truth! I'm almost glad that we didn't pull it out on that last drive, because I think our guys need the motivation from an L at the end of a poorly executed game. You can bet your boots that the whole Defense is going to be ravenously hungry to prove themselves next wee at home against the...

12 things Hawks and Bolts fans are overlooking

That's pretty interesting; I'll have to read up on that some. I think the color of the Jersey isn't as significant as the field temperature which could be higher than 95 F today. I hope our big guys use their O2 and mist fans!

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ Chargers)

San Diego is badly overmatched today. Philip Rivers will have some bright spots targeting the Nickel CB in 4 receiver sets, but the rest of the LOB is going to give him fits. Seahawks offense will again move the ball at will. Seahawks will land their first road win 34-17 RTD: 1-0

Quick read: Bobby Wagner, the next great Seahawks defender

I like to extend the LOB tag to our entire pass defense. Including Avril and Bennet crashign in from the edges and our LB corps flying all over the place in coverage defying the laws of passing over the middle. I always think about the way Jimmy Graham was an absolute non-factor last year in...

    Norwood may play

I wasn't that impressed during preseason either. I'm not saying to 'replace' him, I'm saying it might be a good idea to deactivate him for a game or two to get a look at Norwood. Right now, I don't see Richardson bringing anything to the table that we don't already have in Harvin or Lockette.

    Norwood may play

I could actually see him replacing Richardson on the active roster. PRich has all kinds of potential, but I haven't been impressed with his play-making capabilities yet. I think he'll need time to develop more. I think Norwood is still an unknown quantity, especially for fans. I would love...
