    Cracks me up how afraid the PC crowd is to assign "blame" to certain things (field, refs, time of day), lest they be labeled whiners. It's OK to explore real issues and problems... From my perspective, I waste a hell of a lot of money and time on this and would appreciate some equity in things...

    I have fantasies about what Russell could do with a real offensive line. I may never know.

    There is a difference between an excuse and an explanation. The field was BS. We need to get home field advantage next time, AND the NFL, for all the money fans waste on this, needs to require that home teams assure a better field surface, else replace it with field turf.
