    Safeco Field and Mariner Fans

I'd love to see O'Malley get his chance. Of course I'm biased but I don't think he could do any worse than some of the guys we have now. He can play many different positions and has pretty good speed. And yes, I realize he isn't on the 40 man roster.

Because they were good players in the all mighty SEC.

    Felix Hernandez is.......

I've said this time and time again to people I know, the day that Felix finally gets to play his first home playoff game will be one of the best environments Seattle sports fans have witnessed. I just hope it's sooner rather than later.

    Nba playoffs... Who ya got?

This. I don't care who you're a fan of, Steph Curry is a blast to watch.

Bill Simmons fired by ESPN, banned from own site

Whether you like him or not, I'm just grateful that he brought about the 30 for 30 series. It's the best thing that's been on ESPN outside of live sports.

    Famous alums from Pac-12 schools

I believe it's Sara Jean Underwood, not Kara. USC has a hell of a list, but I'll also add George Lucas and Jerry Buss (yes, mostly sports related, but still).

"Seahawks are stupid if they don't throw to JG every time."

I think catches and yards will certainly go down, but it wouldn't surprise me to see his touchdowns stay fairly close to the same.

Which player did you hope Seattle would draft?

Strong. Admittedly I'm most familiar with Pac-12 football so it was kind of narrowed down to that, but I really like him. I wouldn't have minded Ifo in the later rounds.

I remember when I actually cared a smidge about boxing...

I've never been much of an MMA fan so I'd easily agree.

    Michael Grey leaving 710

Anybody listen to Brock and Salk this morning? They were talking about stupid things you've done or said to your boss and Salk brought this up. It starts right around the 15:10 mark. They don't mention any names but do say something about knowing everybody involved...

    Oregon runner celebrates too early

That's hilarious. I've never understood why people start to cheer early like that. It's the same thing in football when somebody has a clear shot at the end zone and they drop the ball before they cross into the endzone.

    New ESPN.com

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. Speaking of changes, has anybody watched a baseball game on ESPN yet this year? I do not like the K-Zone that they keep up at all times during the game.

Should we read anything into this?

Who cares? There's people I get along with quite well at work and I don't have them as a friend on Facebook.

    Blount Suspended for Season Opener

No joke. I read the words "Blount Suspended" and got quite happy. I then decided to read the whole thing and was disappointed.

Taijuan Walker with another great outing today. He finally let up his first run on a solo HR but cruised after that, retiring the last 17 hitters he faced and a final line of 7 IP, 1 ER, 5 K's and no walks. Zunino continues to show his power with his 7th home run of the spring. I know it's...

I just hope Felix, Paxton, Iwakuma and Walker are able to stay healthy this year. If that happens this team could do great things. And Walker is done for the day. 6 IP, 6 K's, 1 BB, 0 runs allowed. I believe that's 18 innings he's pitched this spring and has yet to allow a run.

    Mariners Offseason Thread 2014-2015

Last year our pitching let up the fewest runs in the whole league and that was with Paxton and Walker only putting in a little over 100 innings combined. If they can stay healthy this year our pitching staff will be awesome. Fernando Rodney led the league in saves, even if it is a roller...
