Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Cardinals @ Seahawks)

I agree Arizona is not as good as their stats indicate, but I still think they're powerful enough to expose all of our weaknesses. Betting against my heart and hope I'm dead wrong: Seattle 23 Arizona 31 YTD: 6 - 2

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ Cowboys)

Gotta believe we can beat a disjointed team on the road, Dez Bryant or no Dez Bryant: Seattle 23 Dallas 17 Season: 5 - 2

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ 49ers)

Despite the miserable meltdowns (count 'em, 4!!!) I still think San Francisco sucks his year, and I can't believe we can be that bad, even on the road. Seattle 20 San Francisco 17 Year-to-date: 4 - 2

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Panthers @ Seahawks)

    Agree with HawkFan72, a somewhat lower-score but still a win: Seattle 20 Carolina 13 Record to date 4 - 1

    Goat of the game

I would like to know who is responsible for all the short passes? I mean the 7-, 8-, 9-yard quick passes, usually on a slant? We have had a problem with that for years and years, so it's not on the greenie DC. And, despite what I have heard, IMHO it's not our DL not getting there quick enough...

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ Bengals)

The Lions had our offense bamboozled with the blitzing ends, paralyzing newbie Gilliam and even (alleged star) Okung. Poor Bevell/Caroll did absolutely nothing to counter that problem. I see Cincinnati doing the same, but with even greater success against magician Wilson. Our defense will keep...

The elephant in the room (Graham)

This. I know RW scrambles and makes magic, but count how many times Jimmy was freakin' wide open and still Russ targeted somebody else, resulting in some incompletes. Even the TV announcers spotted this and brought up film showing Jimmy standing all alone. Russ is great but, IMO he's the reason...

    Bevell's Last Play Call

Disagree. For the record I liked calling for a pass (whether by design or a broken play) but not that pass. The alternative to a run was to throw a quick 2-yard pass. If only we some big, talented receiver to pass to. Oh wait!

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Lions @ Seahawks)

I'm thinking low score but still pull out a win: Seattle 17 Detroit 10 YTD: 2 - 1

What's the one thing you want to see against Chicago?

Man, that's easy.... Offense - more Jimmy Defense - no offsides for Bennett

If you're "IN", post here now.

I'm in! If I was in all the crap years (2 - 14, Behring, yada yada), and I was, why would I not be in now? This is truly the Golden Era for our boys.

Kam is IN the Building!!!!!!! (The New KAM Topic)

Well, he himself tweeted "I can address business after the season." (multiple sources for that tweet, but here's one http://www.fieldgulls.com/2015/9/23/9383349/kam-chancellor-holdout-ends-returns-to-seahawks) I don't see any way to take his words other than, at the end of the season, he'll...

Kam is IN the Building!!!!!!! (The New KAM Topic)

My memory's shot but I've been a fan nearly from the beginning, and I've never seen the FO not drop the fines. I agree with what Trenchbroom said above, this will be Kam's last year. He'll pull this stunt again next year -- he practically guaranteed it himself -- and IMO the FO is going to boot...

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Bears @ Seahawks)

My prediction before Kam returned was Hawks 27 Bears 10. My prediction now that Kam has returned is Hawks 27 Bears 10. Yeah, I know this isn't a Kam thread, but he probably won't play and we had this game by a buttload already.

Our Defensive Line: Free Play versus Play Stop?

Looked in all the rules but couldn't find a satisfactory answer: when is it a free play (a la Bennett), and when does the play get whistled to a stop (which seems to be all we ever get from opponents defensive lines)?

Did we really just throw the ball to Graham 1 time tonight?

Quick slant gets the ball out of Wilson's hand in less than a second. For something longer, if Jimmy's double- and triple-teamed, there's gotta be at least one guy open or single-covered, throw to him.

Financial Consequences For Kam If a 10 Week Holdout?

In another thread one person posted that it's actually up to the Commissioner to decide whether a player can return in Week 11, and he nearly always grants that decision to the team. Besides not taking one year off his contract, what would be the financial impact of this if the team refused? And...

    Patriots blatantly cheating

Sort of off topic to the above comments about HeadsetGate, but on topic for the OP's thread title. I'm wondering if anybody knows whether the NFL has proceeded with the Brady appeal? Or was that just knee-jerk rhetoric to save face? Thanks.

    Pay Kam

What? What part of the contract will not be honored? How will the FO get away with it? And if you're talking about "the team can always cut a player but the player can't cut the team" that's baloney. A player can retire anytime he wants (a la Lynch).
