Rookie impact on the active roster (46 man)

IMO rookies can come in and impact a number of different positons on our team. RT, LG, OC, nickel CB, OLB, 3-tech DT, RB, FB, and a well rounded TE.

Michael Thomas WR USM pro day

Here are a couple of videos of him. Just eyeballing it, it doesn't look like he has the 32 inch arm length. With his athleticism and production I wouldn't be surprised to see go somewhere between rounds 3-5. MycK76U6ofc 143le4lA96I

If the Hawks draft these two players I will be ecstatic!

That would be an outstanding first three rounds! I would target DE/LB David Perkins in the 4th or 5th round. He is on my Seahawks wish list. iRqN61dDfBw

    Seven round Seahawks mock draft

I would incredibly happy with the scenario of Bullard in the 1st & McGovern in the 2nd, although IMO McGovern won't be there late in the 2nd round. I have come around to using a 3rd round pick on Ervin. Drafting a player that actually played OC in college is comforting. I would be good with the...

Meet the Seahawks athletic freak LT...

The Seahawks athletic freak LT for the future is....Garry Gilliam! Yes, we all know he is a former TE, which means he is fairly athletic. But lets compare Gilliam's Pro Day #'s to the top OT's in this years draft. Keep in mind that Gilliam put up these #'s weighing 306 lbs. Gilliam's broad...

Seahawks interested in San Jose State RB Tyler Ervin

Right now he is considered a 3rd round prospect...would you be okay with the Seahawks trading up in the 3rd round to draft Ervin or even use a 2nd round pick on him? I like Ervin a lot, but it would be difficult for me to stomach using a 2nd or 3rd round pick on him.

    My feeling on this draft

There are soooo many OT's that are considered 1st round prospects or borderline 1st round prospects, which is why I there are so many Seahawks fans have them taking a OT in the 1st. It all depends on how many OT's do the Seahawks actually have 1st round grades on this years OT's. Maybe they have...

Baylor's Briles:Oakman will be a steal in 2016 NFL Draft

The Big Man is a bit of a "circus side show", big oversized TE that you just want to stare at to see what he can do. He isn't going to be anything special as a receiver or blocker. He got some reps at LT vs Clemson and he was a hot mess. While I wouldn't use a draft pick on him, I would give him...

    McGruff's Diamonds - Offensive Line

IMO McGovern isn't going to make it out of the 2nd round and we would be fortunate if he were still available #56. If he starts for us at OC, then I think there are going to be some growing pains the first half of the season. So for me I would start him at LG as a rookie.

Who would you draft if you had the #1 pick?

I'll make the pick for you...Notre Dame OC Nick Martin! He doesn't fit the athletic profile that the Seahawks like in their o-lineman, but he is a team leader that will make all the calls on the o-line and make others around him better. If we draft a OC, Martin is the one I want for the...

Who would you draft if you had the #1 pick?

For me it's easy....LT Laremy Tunsil. He is one of the best LT I have ever scouted. IMO he is without question the number one prospect in the draft. But, my favorite player is OLB Myles Jack, he is the Kam Chancellor of LB's. Dude is physical and fun to watch.

    Rico Gathers Baylor Basketball Player

We already have a star basketball player on our team that can't block to save his life, we don't need another. If we do draft a TE in the draft he will probably have proved to be a good blocker at the collegiate level....the Seahawks have shown interest in Ohio St TE Nick Vannett. Vannett is...

Seahawks interested in San Jose State RB Tyler Ervin

I do like what is see from Ervin, explosive and runs fairly tough for a 185 lb guy. The 49er, Steelers, and Raiders running back coaches put Ervin ran him through drills at his pro day, so he has lot of interest from other teams. I read that he is considered a 3rd round prospect, which is too...

Shift in draft priorities with addition of two OL?

I think the Seahawks are just hedging their bets. If all their 1st round graded OT's are off the board at pick #26, then they will be in a position to where they don't have to reach on a player like Texas Tech OT Le'Raven Clark at #26.

    Jonathan Bullard, DT, Florida

If given the choice of moving up in the 2nd round to draft a gap penetrating 3-tech DT, then I would rather target Robert Nkemdiche or Chris Jones.

    All you Husky fans

Umm, I hope you don't mind me chiming in... If you want the Seahawks to draft a backup QB, then here is a prospect to consider. Dartmouth (QB) Dalyn Williams is similar to Russell Wilson in size, body type, and mobility. WOlDhxtNIxM As you can see he has the short, but stocky build similar...

Illinois State DE/LB David Perkins...the next Bruce Irvin???

Perkins did his Pro Day at Northwestern's Pro day. I can't find his results from how he did, but all 32 teams were in attendance. I'm sure he is no longer flying under the radar. Here is an interview he did a few days ago... http://www.blogtalkradio.com/2016nfldra ... -nfl-draft It's a bit...

The physical freaks in this draft play O-line not D-line...

Great article. It's nice to have a quick rating system that combines athletisim and all the physical measurements. It's kind of amusing to see fan favorite Sebastian Tretola at the very bottom of the o-line SLA ratings...damn those short arms.

    Charone Peake, WR, Clemson

Wilson's comp may already be on our roster...Jeff Fuller. Fuller was a very productive WR at Texas A&M. His last two years at in college he had 1,800 receiving yards and 18 TD's. Fuller is 6-4 223 lbs, coming out of college he ran a 4.65 40-yard and had a 36 inch vert. For me he is a very...
