    O-line improvement

We spend more draft capital on OL than any other position group.

Here we list Tom Cables accomplishments

He's the common denominator. We can't identify OL talent and we can't coach it. Haven't been able to for years. Not sure why Cable is retained. I'd genuinely be interested to hear an argument in favor of keeping Cable. Anyone have one?

    Time to protest Bevell/Cable!!!!!

Whoa, don't cut yourself on all that edge.

    The end is nigh...

The Ravens fired their OC, Cam Cameron, in week 14 of 2012 and then went on to win the Super Bowl.

    Ohdiambo and Ifedi Were Awful!

The guard play was far worse than the tackle play, and the tackle play was poor. The guard play was simply untenable, don't know what else to say about it. Can't win with it.

I think they should trade graham

An elite tackle is a pipe dream. Let's just start with decent guard play. Did you watch Glowinski yesterday? Absolutely putrid.

I think they should trade graham

The thing I don't understand about the treatment of TEs on this team is that PC obviously wants a TE like Zach Miller... so why not get one? No need to spend big money on Jimmy if you aren't going to use him. Pete is great at adapting the scheme to the talents of our defensive players...

I think they should trade graham

Yes, please get Jimmy's $10M salary off the books so we can sink it into another Luke Joeckel.

    Fire Pete Carroll

This is a football forum not a therapy session. Don't really see the point in indulging ridiculous catharsis like this. I'm probably wrong, though.

    Underwelmed with the Dline

Yes, the DL recorded four sacks while allowing 28 carries for 84 yards. That's good for a 3.0 YPC average. Just terrible.

    Brutal honesty

We lost an exceedingly winnable game for no reason other than the abysmal play of the offensive line, which has been a trend for years now. But sure, we can pretend this is an aberration.

This OLine Is A Whole New Level Of BAD

Cable had a lot of say in spending a first round pick on Ifedi and he's hot garbage.

This OLine Is A Whole New Level Of BAD

Come on guys, this OL just needs time to gel! :sarcasm_off:

    Aros' Fearless Overreaction Thread

Not calling it a season, that's just silly, but I don't think criticism of the OL is overreaction at all. It's atrocious and has been for a few years now.

Shaping up to be a historically bad O-Line

I'd be interested to see how long each QB held the ball per snap. Your comparison is pretty useless without that information.

Shaping up to be a historically bad O-Line

If you're trying to be arrogantly dismissive at least come up with something clever.

Shaping up to be a historically bad O-Line

Stop deflecting from the ineptitude of the offensive line. They are THE reason this offense is so poor as teams simply don't have to pay the run any respect. We just don't have the horses for it upfront. Without a legitimate threat of the rush and associated play action, Pete's offense isn't...

Shaping up to be a historically bad O-Line

What do you see as wrong with the offense outside of the OL? Is the OL the root cause, or just secondary?

First game of the year without an offensive TD

Even the Scott Tolzien led Colts scored a TD. I don't think getting in the end zone is asking too much.

Why the OL Has Been So Bad?

There are only so many drills you can do with an O lineman.
