Clayton says Bevell and Cable will be back

He fired Jeremy Bates in 2010, no?

    2016 vs 2017 oline

This question is like arguing over which pile of shit stinks the least.

Kickers you would love the Hawks to get.

Thank god we saved ~$2M by replacing Hauschka with Walsh. If we didn't, we wouldn't have been able to bask in Eddie Lacy's 69 carries for 179 yards. Good for 2.6 YPC. You can't get that type of production just anywhere.

Way too early 2018 depth chart predictions

No way McEvoy makes the team. He's unreliable and sucks on special teams. Hope Jon Ryan is gone as well. He's expensive as far as punters go, and hasn't played well this year. He shanked few today, including a 28 yard can of corn. Also hope we keep Paul Richardson I've Jimmy G and Lam retires...

Tyler Lockett has been money in the slot

Or it could be that as one of our fastest players, Lockett is often sent on go type routes to take the top off the defense and back the corners/safeties off the LOS. We can't run the ball as it is, so the last thing we need is the defense crowding the box. Also, is that the type of garbage PFF...

Davis Hsu is suggesting Pete might trade Wilson

    POLL: Should Bevell be fired?

Bevell is no world beater, but the clear weak link in the coaching chain is Cable. He is simply terrible. Week 15 and players still can't figure out their assignments. We STILL can't pick up a stunt nor delayed blitz. Does anyone have a single good reason for retaining Cable? Honestly. I'm not...

Carroll thinks the Brown and Richardson trades did not help

Pretty much this. Trying to tag Brown and Richardson with blame is silly. Hang that albatross around the collective necks of Joeckel, Lacy, Lane, and anyone involved in the Percy Harvin trade or drafting of McDowell.

Starters not on the team next year predictions:

Ah, gotcha. Also, I highly doubt Kam retires. Guy just got an extension he was fighting for. No way he just leaves that money on the table. He’ll find a way to linger if he can’t contribute.

I don’t see how cutting Fant, Vannnett, or Roos makes any sense.

    Earl and Wagz exchange...

It's funny that Seth Wickersham got lambasted for his discord in Hawksville piece. Looking more like he was spot on. This franchise appears deeply troubled. Way, way too much internal turmoil. Right now we're just glossing over it. Have to rip the root out if you want it to heal.

    Blair Walsh still here

Yep, this is a case of no better option. But... Great leg? Come on, Pete. He came up short on a 52 yarder with the game on the line. Bad look for an NFL kicker.

    Blair Walsh still here

Why even wait for the playoffs? Of the remaining three games on the schedule, all of which are crucially important, what are the odds one of those games is decided by the petite foot of Blair Walsh? Yuck.

This WAS One Of Those Games

Seahawks registered zero sacks and just one QB hit on Sunday? When was the last time you saw the Hawks post a stat line like that? Ugly.

The entire NFC is a mess right now

Aren't most of the Saints injuries short term deals? Thought most of those guys were coming back. Agreed on injuries derailing the NFC, however.
