    The entire deal was that, referring to the next 4 games (this one included), somebody on our O said that we're in a gauntlet but the D said we're in the death zone.

    I read the actual quote. He said "We're in the death zone" (meaning, any losses will result in our playoff hopes dying) not "We are the Death Zone". That whole "Death Zone" thing is a huge misunderstanding.
