    M-Rob Bold Prediction MNF

There's no reason for them to even go at Sherm.. Put DK or Gordon on him. I am hoping they run a pitch right to see what happens with Carson VS Sherman.

    Russell to struggle against SF

Kyler just threw up 258 and no INT against them.. I think Russ will be OK.

9 things we learned from Sundays Games nfl dot com

I didn't think my comment deserved a whole thread, so I'll just post it in this one: I found it interesting that what looks to be 2 of the top 3 teams in the league (NO and BAL) have been the Hawks only 2 losses. If they can beat SF in SF, no matter how it's looked, the Hawks are a contender.

    Rapoport: Seahawks Claimed Josh Gordon!

If he lights it up, and someone else signs him to a 1 year deal, the Hawks could conceivably get a compensatory pick for him....Another small silver lining.

Some of you really don't understand how Pete operates

My mistake. 2012- Russ's rookie year. 58-0, 58-17, 42-13 (against elite team), 28-7.. All in the last 6 games of the season.

Some of you really don't understand how Pete operates

I understand they used to beat teams regularly by 30-60+ in Russ's 2nd and 3rd year... when they were actually really good... and now they don't, because they are slightly above average. The Hawks will be something like 10-6, wildcard, 1st or 2nd round exit. No SB team in the modern era has...

    Dan Quinn

Coaches do this all the time.. literally, all the time. Tom Cable went from head coach to OLINE coach. Obviously, moving from HC to DC is the most obvious, but if he wanted a job mid season, then it would be as a specialty coach with a "wink wink nudge nudge" in the offseason to DC.

    Dan Quinn

I agree.. and yet I still wouldn't change my verbiage. Sentence one was stating that pete would not fire Norton mid-season. Sentence two was stating that he would be justified in doing so.

    Dan Quinn

Yes, but he wouldn't do that. He would bring him back first as a Dline coach..IMO. Granted with the recent defensive struggle.. he might be justified to fire Norton.

    Penny on the way out?

Career 5.04 YPC. 1st round pick. Good pass catcher... The guy could be a feature back in an offense- especially an I-formation offense. If you can't get a 2nd round pick, he's worth more to Seattle than someone else.

    Dan Quinn

Hell yeah. Norton is a decent guy, but schematically he's not special.. He just hold his player accountable. Quinn is such a huge upgrade for DLINE stunts and teaching.

    Carson needs to be benched

Who did the Hawks give the ball to 4th and 1 with the game on the line? Yeah, he's not getting benched anytime soon. They have a nice thing going with the grinder (carson), and the HR threat (Penny).

Is DK a Diva in the making?

DK is going to have to learn some stretching and pilates to avoid being on the weekly injury report, and have any chance at healing like Wolverine.

    Bobby Wagner out indefinitely

I don't want to over- react to this, but this is potentially the worst news of the last 2-3 years if it means he can never get right. The 3 year extension, was good in part because Bobby has never had a sniff of injury issues. However, to get this a few weeks after the extension is really...

Live and learn, Jarran. We all make mistakes, just don't make the same mistake twice.

Which Russ Wilson would you rather have, current or rookie?

Russ is not the same person he was when he first came into the league. He’s certainly much different appearance-wise since marrying a pop queen. My OP made no judgement on whether Ciara factor was a good thing or bad thing, you all who took issue, made those judgments or assumptions on your own.

Which Russ Wilson would you rather have, current or rookie?

Rookie Russ was just a young kid with a bright smile. Current Russ is a slicked back baller with tons of dough and GLAM. Make of that whatever you want but that’s just the facts.

Which Russ Wilson would you rather have, current or rookie?

Consider: Rookie -Cheap cap hit -Inexperienced -Faster -Less spotlight -No Ciara factor Current -Experienced -Poised -Better pocket passer -Can better read defences -Ciara factor -$$$ cap hit I have no agenda, just curious. Also, this is a one year hypothetical. So if you pick rookie, that...

Can They Afford top Keep Bobby Wagner?

I think you have to on a shorter term deal- like 3 years. Pay him the top of the market but for a condensed term. Bobby is too good to let go at 30. Also, he's such a smart LB, those guys age well. Lastly, he's extremely durable thus far in his career.
