Seattle the number 1 rushing offense in the NFL.

Can you imagine how impossible it would have been to beat this team with this year's run offense and previous year's dominant defense? Here's the good news- we're a dominant defense away from winning a SB, and I would have put money that finding a dominant running game would have been the...

Russ has regressed as a QB

Russ's speed is the only thing that has regressed.. and I'd like to see him about 15 lbs lighter now that he has a line that can block.

Seattle the number 1 rushing offense in the NFL.

Do you know how special it is to run it 90% on 1st downs, and other teams know that and they still average 5 YPC? Have you seen the "bite" of the LBs every time russ pulls it back for P/A? Yeah that's how you dominate games down the stretch and in the playoffs. This team is build for the...

Seattle the number 1 rushing offense in the NFL.

This year it looks like there's going to be no gain, and Carson falls forward for 6.. and you're like, "was that really 6? It looked like it was going to be 2-3".. Last year was the opposite. THere'd be what looks like a hole and he'd fall forward for 3 and you'd think "That was a good gain".

Russ has regressed as a QB

Russ was again brutal in the first half, but was all world in the second.. Sounds a lot like the "old" russ to me. IN fact this year, he's been missing those drives to win it... so it's a curious time to bring that up.

    Penny-Carson or Carson-Penny?

Don't forget about Mike Davis. Huge 3rd down block, and hard running to close the game!

    Playcalling - Get it straight

Devils advocate here 1) I didn't know russ had 2 audible run options and 1 pass... Tough to blame Shotty here when the run game is so strong and the Hawks are putting up strong points mostly every game. 2) My only complaint is the play design.... it's great that he has options, but I'd like to...

Seahawks-49ers flexed out of Sunday night

I don't blame them to be honest. I'm already sick of watching the 49ers- they got like 6 games in prime time this year.

Oddsmakers 16-1 that Laveon Bell comes to Seattle

Let's put that money into the defense... and continue rushing for 250 yards a game and see what happens:)

    Seahawks to be Sold

I don't think so actually. Cuban is pretty hands on. I think the best NFL owners are hands off. They let the guys who've been coaching/managing football run the show.

We Are Not What Our Record Says We Are

Despite the record, I am more encouraged than discouraged this year. The Seahawks used to have the worst running game in the league and now they have the best.. The best years were when they had a top 5 running game... The last 2 years the Hawks neither had a top running game or a top defense...

    Penny time!

Yeah you almost make my point, actually. The point is that Penny is better as a compliment to a bruising back. The first quarter was by far their best quarter and both received carries. The 2nd, 3rd, and early 4th featured only one guy (Davis in the 2nd, Penny in the 3rd and 4th). As I mentioned...

    Penny time!

Penny still played in the 2nd quarter. I'm not saying Davis should play all the time, but I'm saying Penny and the Hawks are better when they sprinkle in both, preferably starting with Davis, and then when he wears them down they add penny (similar to what has made NO effective with Ingram and...

    Penny time!

I liked Penny as a sprinkle home run hitter after Davis bludgeoned them but didn't anyone else notice them exclusively using Penny in the 2nd half? The offense was far less efficient without Davis's 4-5 yard carries. I think Pete tried to "ride the hot hand" rather than sticking with his...

How much do YOU pay Wilson? -- (Poll)

Largent, I think the greater question is not "what is Wilson worth?", but rather philosophically "can you win a SB paying great QB what they're truly 'worth'"? Would the hawks be better of trading Wilson for 2 1sts, and drafting a young QB, using money in UFA and building a team? I mean I guess...

How much do YOU pay Wilson? -- (Poll)

Why are the Patriots dominant every year? In part because Brady married a hundred millionaire and the difference between $15MM-$30 MM makes no difference to his quality of life. Name the last team to win a SB with a QB making in the top 5 for his position? 2008 Eli manning was the 5th highest...

The Home Mystique. Have we lost it?

Yeah, but in past when the team still wasn't that good the Hawks would win 6 or 7 at home and lose 5-6 on the road.

    Wilson is not Elite

I agree with this mostly. I think Rodgers is a small step ahead of Wilson because he has better pocket mechanics and doesn't take so many drive killing sacks that Russ takes. You never see him retreat backwards, and for that reason, I think he can get away with a team with less running and...
