Matt Ryan has agreed to a 5 year extension

So do I, Indy. The NFLPA has been advising players for a long time now to get their finances in order and assume they're not going to be getting paid for the 2021 season. They have taken out an insurance policy that will pay each player $200,000 but that's a drop in the ocean for a lot of...

    Brandon Marshall is in town

He doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the moves this season and the culture 'reset'. What happens when he gets arsey about not being targeted enough? His personality really doesn't seem to fit in with the 2018 Seahawks if you ask me. I'd give his targets to Darboh/Moore/UDFA every single...

Russell Wilson expects Seahawks to franchise tag him in 2020

People are not questioning if Russ should get an extension for the same reason as I am. They are questioning if he is worthwhile at a given price to the team. I am questioning if it makes more sense to hold off of an extension until the CBA has been finalised. If the CBA wasn't being renewed...

Rashaad Penny for Offensive Rookie of the year?

I respectfully disagree. Blocking absolutely is his weak spot and an area he needs to improve in. Running backs MUST be able to block in this league. At least if you want an every down back. I have no doubt that Penny can get up to speed with it during camp, though.

Why Didn't the Seahawks Trade Down?

This is typical "talent can only be found in the first round syndrome". They literally addressed all the needs you listed, just because they're not 1st round picks doesn't mean they're set for failure. If they'd have gone DL in the first would you moan they didn't go OL and corner (and RB!)?

#PICK 149 MICHEAL DICKSON PUNTER TEXAS

Here's the narrative for next season on here - "Dickson is punting the ball too far which is resulting in the defense being on the field too long while the opposing offense dinks and dunks on them. Fire Dickson"

2019 Compensatory Draft Picks Update (5/8/2018)

I thought all along that Seattle would prioritise talent over comp picks, not surprised in the least.

Russell Wilson expects Seahawks to franchise tag him in 2020

I cannot believe people are questioning if Russell Wilson should be extended. I'm all for the franchise tag in 2020 and 2021 but not because I don't want to see Russ get a long term deal, I'm all for it purely down to agreeing it's best to see exactly what happens with the new CBA. I doubt...

Schottenheimer a breath of fresh air (Greg Bell)

Just to add on this... Pete actually addressed this in the post rookie minicamp press conference. He said approx 70% of the offense has been carried over with the remaining 30% is new. Seems like, although Brian's offense is known for being complex, he's taking a slightly different approach...
