    New OC options

Reich would be an ideal candidate. His track record as an OC speaks for itself.

    New OC options

This would also make no sense since Jake Peetz was the passing game coordinator for the Seahawks. If Grubb was calling passing plays was a problem, then Peetz was a part of it. Plus it reeks of another Waldron type hire with no playcalling experience- an assistant under Sean McVay.

    New OC options

Bieniemy worked with Leslie Frazier with Vikings and Mike M holds Frazier in high regard. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a good look. He was part of the staff that had a top ten offenses with the Chiefs (2018-2022). The Commanders were a hot mess prior to him joining.

    New OC options

Eric Bieniemy was just hired as a "consultant" by the Huskies. I wonder if the Seahawks look to him as a potential OC candidate. He had success with the Chiefs. Does he fit what Mike M is seeking from an offense?

    The case for Brian Schottenheimer

If the Seahawks decide to make a change at OC, then I'd like to see them bring in Frank Reich. Frank was the OC when the Eagles went and beat the Pats in the Superbowl. The Eagles QB tandem that season was Carson Wentz and Nick Foles. Article on Reich's offensive scheme -...

    The case for Brian Schottenheimer

All I remember from the Schotty era was the ridiculous game plan he had employed in the wildcard game vs the Cowboys. https://www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/401038953/seahawks-cowboys. That in itself should DQ him from consideration.

Things must happen this off season

Things that must happen this offseason.....find a way to bring Scott McCloughan back to head up the Seahawk scouting dept. https://www.hogshaven.com/2016/1/27/10839990/a-big-mans-game-the-scot-mccloughan-philosophy

Mid-round project QBs we could draft

If he's playing with a torn ACL, I'm questioning his decision making abilities. Respect his determination and dedication but his risking his future career for college football games is not the wisest move.

Mid-round project QBs we could draft

Carson Beck would be great. Most mocks I've seen have him as day 2 or 3 pick. Beck's draft profile on thedraftnetwork - https://thedraftnetwork.com/2024/06/21/carson-beck-scouting-report-nfl-draft#google_vignette

Only One Seahawk Pro Bowl Nomination

The Pro bowl is a joke and has been for several years.

Best landing spot for Pete Carroll?

Not a good fit if Pete wants total control. Jerry won't give that up. Jerry Jones is the complete opposite of the type of owner who Paul Allen was.

    Separation of Top End WRs.

I don't see where DK is catching balls with his body rather than this hands. I see exactly the opposite. He actually uses his hands a lot to make catches. Almost textbook catches. https://www.seahawks.com/video/dk-metcalf-makes-unbelievable-one-handed-catch-at-practice...

    Chicago. Big Mac/Defense, Geno, Grubb

True. Josh Allen had 18 INTs in 2023. He also threw for 29 TDs and was 57.35% comp pct in with 20 TDs and only 1 INT in the redzone. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2023/redzone-passing.htm. Josh also had 15 rushing TDs in 2023...

So do the Giants. How did that one turn out?

Woolen what the deuce you doing?

His success as a rookie went to his head. Plus being around Quandre Diggs didn't help. He used to have a chip on his shoulder (his rookie season). Now he's on the field making business decisions (like not tackling, making half-hearted effort, etc).

    Fire Ryan Grubb NOW

Geno is afraid to get hit. While running, he has lots of green in front of him and chooses to slide instead. This isn't the only time it's happened this season. He does it on a consistent basis and even before he hurt his knee.

    Chicago. Big Mac/Defense, Geno, Grubb

The problem is that Geno makes mistakes you don't expect a 12 year vet to make. Furthermore, he does so consistently.
  19. hawkfan68

    Geno Smith

And Geno Smith has been in the league 12 years now. How about the consistent costly mistakes in the red zone that a 12 year vet shouldn't be making?

Who wants Castillo and what do they got?

Seems to have pitched well while he was with the Reds. Actually some of his best seasons (era) came while he was in Cincy. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/c/castilu02.shtml Trading Castillo is only a good move, IMO, if they are able to win the Roki Sasaki sweepstakes and get him.
