    Go Ravens! (Ravens @ Chiefs)

Then why does the center keep snapping the ball to him on every play?

    Hypothetical QB Scenario

A quarterback that always has that extra threat of "maybe he'll run" could be argued is playing at a higher level. And you must realize that Mahomes is also one of those QBs that runs a lot. It's just mostly sideways and backwards....

    Go Ravens! (Ravens @ Chiefs)

Ravens defence is porous at times.

Week One Enemy Fan Forums: Denver Broncos

Some of the old codgers over there are getting ulcers still ruminating about Russell Wilson. It's not a healthy habit I tell ya.

The Most Interesting Man in the NFL is . .

There are some borderline awful quarterbacks about to start the regular season that somehow have avoided the second-guessing from the press. Sam Darnold? Deshawn Watson? I could go on.. I suppose they're the equivalent of mashed potatoes in terms of generating hits or views or listens.

The Most Interesting Man in the NFL is . .

Russell Wilson.... At least for this week. You can't listen to or watch a sports radio or TV show, or browse the internet without them talking about Russ. Will he start? Speculation about how short a leash? Will Justin Fields replace him? Can he see the field? What's with all of the...

Fields played a preseason half-game against Bills 3rd stringers and was underwhelming. Starting him would likely result in a string of Ls. Live and learn Pittsburgh...

Vegas Seahawks 2024 season Win/Loss Total Odds

Well, there's the bit about cleaning house and replacing the entire coaching staff. Some teams, that could create the possibility of much, much worse.

    I'm Excited

This is where I'm at. We all saw the worst-case scenario when Nathaniel Hackett took the reigns as a first year coach in Denver. Are we going to see Seahawks fans at the game, counting down the clock on every play?

Interesting stats for fans down on Geno and/or Russ

I'll say this though. If Geno helms the team to 12 wins this year, I certainly won't discount his contribution. Period.

Interesting stats for fans down on Geno and/or Russ

Seahawks won 6 of their last 7 games in 2020, including winning their last 4 straight, and Wilson wasn't on the bench, best of my recollection. No wheels falling off, period Your football "knowledge" is hindered by your jilted lover syndrome. Sorry, you can't credibly twist 12-4 to wheels...

Interesting stats for fans down on Geno and/or Russ

I will need to correct you. Why do posters here keep saying 2020 was a "wheels fell off" season for Wilson? It's just plain wrong. Please stop it, for your own credibility sake. They had a 12-4 W/L season, man. You know which players QB'd their team to 12 wins or better last year? L. Jackson...

Why Steelers will replace Russell Wilson “early” with Justin Fields

It isn't. Let's call up the picture of Brady, pre-draft.

Seahawks organization treatment towards players families

Wilson ruined this for everybody, with his asking for his own room (one year later albeit) This is why we can't have nice things.

Interesting stats for fans down on Geno and/or Russ

I don't see this as an oddball stat. He's in really good company. My logical conclusion is that if the team around Geno improves a fair bit, it stands to reason that this should translate into substantially more completions, more yards, more points, more wins. Same goes for the Steelers and...

Interesting stats for fans down on Geno and/or Russ

I came across this interesting 2023 season stat compilation regarding QB accuracy, or lack thereof. Look at the company that Geno and Russ were keeping near the bottom: Highest rate of incompletions due to inaccurate passes: 43.9% - Deshaun Watson 40.6% - Tyrod Taylor 38.8% - Trevor Siemian...

Statue for Pete? Hell to the yes!

I'm thinking this is not such a good idea, mainly because bronze statue and "likeness" are often so very far apart, depending on the talent of the artist. Case in point, here's the Lucille Ball cautionary tale:

    “We Still Mad”. Bobby Wagner

Oh yes, I've always heard that the number 1 priority, and key to a successful NFL team, is to "fit in as one of the guys" Y'know, like Mahomes. 😆
