Mike Macdonald Explains Decision to Fire OC Ryan Grubb

It seems to me that the next step should be interviews for the Offensive Coordinator position. I would assume everything else would follow from a OC hire. During that interview process, remaining members of the offensive staff could decide to move on to other opportunities outside the Seahawks...

DK Metcalf Lauds OC Ryan Grubb For Offensive Turnaround

I thought DK played better last year under Sanjay Lal. Sunjay helped DK with more in the way of running sharper cuts and more in the way of some stop and go. Although, in all fairness, DK took a bigger beating this year which no doubt diminished his game day change in inertia. Never the less...

    Thank you Tyler Lockett!!!

Same with me. As I think back to those great games of improvisation by Tyler Lockett and Russell Wilson, the outside possibility of Tyler teaming up with Kyler Murray comes to mind. Fortunately, as you know, the guarantee signing bonus date doesn't arrive until March 14th.

    QB next year

The Seahawks are in great shape at the quarterback position. Three under contract for 2025. Which grows to five under contract when counting the two wide receivers who can throw the ball as well as catch.

6 players will take up 67% of our cap in 2025

Annual cap cost has drawn fan concern since the so called pandemic. And, thus this annual topic. Current 2025 Cash Flow Schedule ....... Geno ..................25M Tyler...................17M DK .....................18.4M Dre'Mont ..........16.5M Leo Williams ...20.85M Nwosu...

Would JS really let Jones walk?

As do I, It's so useful to obtain meaningful feedback from the other 31 franchises. It's the best way to insure that neither negotiating side becomes saddled with what ifs and regrets. Facilitates a clear headed focus for both parties going forward.

    Friday Injury Report @ Rams

Good to read that Abraham Lucas has been ruled out for the season's final game. He's likely to have a great 2025 season once he has had a chance to give his body a much needed rest.

2024 SEAHAWKS Depth Chart and Roster Moves

I like the addition, at season's end, of WR project John RHys Plumlee to the roster. He adds to their collection of wide receiver/running backs that can throw the ball. He can also help in preparations for Kyler Murray again next year. He gives them an emergency 4th under contract quarterback...

Wk 14 Film Review: Uchenna Nwosu

Mike Mcdonald made a point, this week, of identifying sacks as a team statistic rather than an individual statistic. That says a lot about what he wants out of his defense.

    PFF's opinion on Murphy

Opinion: The gross misuse and abuse of statistics have long since reach epidemic levels globally in virtually all fields. It plagues global narratives. Murphy plays for the Seahawks. Not for PFF or any other entertainment site. That site will have no bearing on Byron Murphy's evolving...
