The top bidders for the new owner of the Seahawks has been narrowed down to two candidates, Aditya Mittal and Vinod Khosla. Just some brief tidbits about these two men:

Aditya Mittal is an Indian business heir to ArcelorMittal, a steel manufacturer. He’s 50 years old, born in Indonesia, a minority owner of the Celtics, and his family fortune is estimated at $17.2 billion.
Vinod Khisola is co founder of Sun Microsystems, with estimated fortune of $14 billion. He’s 70 years old, born in Prune, India

An unnamed (for now) former Seahawks player is attached to one of the two groups.

It's gotta be Russell. No other Seahawks player has made the scratch necessary to be mentioned. Wish it was Marshawn, personally, but I am ok with RW.

No former player of ours can even come close to anything resembling a controlling interest. If they get to do anything, it's basically because they were named to it by the people with the actual money.

Jody was there for the trade fiasco that ultimately was a a great win for this team , but what I hope wasn’t lost was the disconnect he created at the end wanting that trade. We’ve moved on. It’s time he did too if it’s him.

Nobody wants him to become Schneider's boss. I doubt his entire net worth is even 2% of what the team is likely to sell for, so I doubt it matters anyway.

I think most of understand that.

My concern is that RW could easily act as consultant and have significant influence in major decisions. Neither of these two prospects need any of RW’s money, what reason would either invite him or allow him into their “group”?

I know everyone is guessing RW as the unnamed former Seahawk because that's a RW thing to do plus he has his and Ciara's money. I'd personally like for it to be Tyler Lockett but I don't recall him "retiring" yet

I’m not looking to blame anyone.
On the Matter however, I’d trust TB to help make decisions that actually benefit the team WAY BEFORE I would RW.
I’m not a RW hater, I just don’t believe for a minute that he has anything in his best interest other than RW.

either one would be a disaster for the team and fans. Worked for too many Indian owned companies. They suck at it. Spent my life in Information technology.

I agree with you but that won't happen. If someone buys this team and they have an ego problem, then it's gonna be a problem. When someone buys this team and they are from somewhere else, they don't have the culture we have here in Seattle. I know it won't happen, but I want someone with PNW ties because I feel more secure and confident that this team won't be moved. Someone from a third world country doesn't give 2 shits about nothing. They are chasing the all mighty dollar and we all know money is the root of all evil. They will not have us, the fans best interest at heart. They will throw us away like garage like Mcvay did with Verse to get Garrett.
