Well that sucked. Once again, a soft throwing lefty tossing spin stymies our hitters. Naylz breaks up the no-hitter and Julio ended the shutout, but other than that a lot of futility at the plate.

Meanwhile, they're hitting seeing eye singles. I've come to hate pulling the infield in, and I don't think it should be done when there are inning ending double play opportunities. Oh well, playing the numbers, I guess.

I missed the game... Did Miller get hurt? Pulled at 66 pitches? only three hits and a run? Am I missing something here.. or is this another sign of Dan getting stupid cute

Looking at play by play .. (not highlights) Looks like MIller could have gone literally several more innings?!?! Game was close.... why is he not allowed to battle? now I need to watch the replay... UNG

They went back to piggy backing aka lets take our best and hottest pitcher out of the game because we are the mariners. It's by design and actually worked decently before but it was only a matter of time before it blew up. Miller could have gone 8 innings then Julios homer maybe wins it or ties it.
Then to top it all off they have Refsnyder lead off when he should be batting dead last.
Let that sink in. That entire game was pre planned.
Sucks to buy tickets for that product thrown out there today. I'd rather spend the money on a blizzard door dash.

The entire starting rotation agreed to the current piggybacking setup, per reports. So this isn't on Dan.

I’d take Scott back in a heartbeat at this rate. He didn’t have nearly as talented a roster, and the players actually seemed to give a damn playing for him. Dan Wilson is a buffoon
