For every team that wins there is always a real moment or two of good luck or good fortune. That good fortune seems to be directly positively related to solid practice and good coaching .My view is we all just shrug and smile while the Rammies continue to cry.

The whole deal with that play is it assumes we wouldn’t have won in t he playoffs on the road. Although home is an advantage for the playoffs I believe this team wins if they won the division or not.

They could've beaten the Panthers afterward too. They have no excuses for not having home field and that's a close, winnable game for either team no matter where it's played.

Yeah, they act like it was the final play of the game or something. There was a lot of game left after it. 🤷‍♂️

The only place I see discussion of this is RIGHT HERE.

It’s not a topic on Rams boards I see.

In fact, .Net is pretty much: Seahawks&Rams.net lately.

It’s amusing.

As to the call itself, it was the right call. Two SB caliber teams played and the Hawks won. Hawks are a great team.

Curious.

I put the video up because they discussed about hearing Breer harping on it.

Tbf, Simmons also wasn't sure if that was coming from Breer or from the Rams.

Either way, he was pointing out how annoying it was to continue hearing about it from the MEDIA.

It's in the video and it's Seahawks-related so...

...GO HAWKS. (y)

A bit off topic but it does relate to things I am sick of and it's Rams/Seahawks related...

I am sick of hearing how the Seahawks will be awesome in 3-5 years when the Rams are drowning in debt. This is the justification used for the Seahawks losing the arms race over the off-season. I WANT TO WIN NOW!

The Rams are looking extra healthy in cap space for the next 2 years and they always seem to find space regardless.

We maintained while they got better. No more excuses, the front office needs to make moves while there are moves to be made.

Back on topic, losers always makes excuses and the Rams are losers...this crying was expected.

I disagree on a couple of things.

For one, I think we didn't just "maintain." I think we got better. If nothing else, adding a healthy Riley Mills to our DT rotation looks like a solid upgrade. He and Murph should make a dominant pair on our interior DL for the next 3-5 years. Both are young and under contract for that period - pretty much.

Beau Stephens looks like a possible upgrade to Bradford, and will at least increase competition on the OL, of which we're returning all 5 starters and almost all of the backups from last year. Can you spell continuity? It's one of the key ingredients in a strong OL and we have it in spades.

The defenders we lost to FA were generally rotation guys, and not necessarily the best in their position groups. Hell, re-signing Hall to a cap friendly deal is a real coup.

The future is bright. We're actually IN that 3-5 year window now. It's not 3-5 years 'down the road.' It's on now.

The real deal, is it assumes we don’t score later on. The 2 point in question was like 6:23 min of time left in the game. It’s so lame to cry about it, because all they had to do was score again and we don’t catch them. Instead we forced a punt, they missed a FG, we punted and they punted. But if it’s 30-29, we would have been aggressive to get another score also.

It's not really a topic here, either. The video isn't talking about the Rams fans. He pointed to two specific examples of media types, specifically Adam Schefter and Albert Greer, saying that the Rams would have won the super bowl except for a fluke two point conversion.

Yup, I’ve heard the phrase “most of us agree the rams were the best team in football last year” so many times this off season. It’s ridiculous. If you want to anoint them next years champs already go ahead. WE DO NOT CARE. Just try to remember who won the games that mattered in the playoffs. In the end the Seahawks proved to be the best team in football last year.

You know, now that I think about it, for someone (RedAlice) who claims that this was the only place this "discussion" takes place, she sure "cared enough" to let us know about it. 200

While we wouldn't have said this what 2 years ago? Maybe? Losing Woolen is a + .... we upgraded in safety and corner. Period.. We still have Okada as well where there was no Drop off from Bryant. But now we have two new studs, who can interchange those roles or cb, plus Nick getting FULL TIME reps all season.

Also yes... the Mills factor.. I think him and Byron are going to be a friggen clear the path kinda duo... This should be fun. 1075 yards, isn't really a hard number to achieve for a running back... especially now moving to a more zone style, number hitting run style. A few runners who can hit the screen and run the wide outside.

Outside of us HOPEFULLY using our TEs more (Bust out Arroyo season?). I don't see much drop off.. I see an increase.. our best players with a season of knowing what it takes to win 14 games etc.

edit: Right Guard is going to be fun to watch during Hard Knocks
