I don’t know about others, but I literally totally forgot about him in thinking about any type of receiving threat on the team. With this said, I think they are going to open up the playbook more for him this coming year and his contributions will hopefully be much greater. Athletically he’s as gifted as they come, so this will be interesting to watch.

He's one of our players whose potential I'm most excited about. I'm always jealous of these teams that have elite receiving TE options, while our best in franchise history was probably 60% of prime Jimmy Graham.
I totally agree with Rat, I think with a healthy Arroyo and Barner it gives us limitless options on formations and how we utilize them.

i wasn't a fan of drafting him because he wasn't a plus blocker. I would see if Kubiak will give us something for him. Barner is the number 1# because he can block at high level and catch passes. TE is a blocking position first.

With the Seahawks Graham was never used to the best of his ability. Seahawks tried using him a a traditional TE I saw him more as a big WR who was at his best running seem routes and as a safety valve. How KC uses Kelce is a good comparison

Seems like Jimmy Graham 2.0. Hopefully they find a way to maximize his production.

We haven't even tapped his potential in the open field but we will. Fleury likes his tight ends to be able to get down field. I like how he was used at Miami. He was dealing with a banged up ankle last year but if he comes in to camp all jacked up and ready to rock, that can't be taken lightly. Arroyo is a freak and will be utilized more going forward in this offense. I guarantee it 200

Seahawks have traditionally used the TE position sparingly at best. Last season, we saw some good use with Barner. Hopefully, this year we see some more creative use of TEs and Arroyo should be a big part of that.
Helps to have an OC that was a TE coach. Those boys are going to work!

We have a new OC that was a TE coach and worked in the Shanahan system where TE's are elite pass catchers (think Kittle and Sharpe). I've got a great feeling about Arroyo and Barner this year.

If anything we may have too many weapons.

Too many weapons, that’s a nice problem to have. Defenses won’t be able to load up on us. Every game could feature a new stud.

Just to add a couple of 2025 rankings ..........

There were only 3 opponents that employed 11 personnel at a lower regular season Seahawks percentage rate of 41.38%. They were Dolphins, Steelers & Ravens.

There were only 7 opponents that employed 12 personnel at a higher regular season Seahawks percentage frequency of 29.85%. They were Browns, Falcons, Ravens, Raiders, Packers, Bears & Giants ...... in that order.

I think Fleury is being underestimated by not only some of us Seahawks fans but by a crapload of other evaluators across the NFL spectrum -> GOOD!
Both Macdonald and Schneider were UNDERESTIMATED for their moves last off-season, and got b*tchslapped by taking them for granted

Arroyo will give a vertical element to the TE position which is hard to defend against. I said it as much when he was drafted and I think it will come to fruition this season.

That 2025 draft needed to be a home run for JS and it was and will continue to give for the seasons to come.

I’m looking forward to Arroyo as well. I could see a lot of two TE sets with Barner. Their skill sets should compliment each other well.
