Yeah, been thinking about that. Pereda is playing pretty good, and Garver is old. Tough choice there IMO.
Can't logically keep Three catchers right? especially if one is hitting .1xx ?

The Mets are just comical again, despite their huge payroll. Bo Bichette is slashing 216/.271/.303, and his wRC+ of 66 makes him 154th out of 160 qualifying hitters. They'd love to trade him, but they just signed him for $126 million for 3 years.

They're in last place, 15 games out of first, but they have so much money that there's a rumor that they're going to trade for Rafael Devers to add him to the crew of the sinking ship.

Good game to win the series. Gilbert continues to struggle a bit at home, not catastrophically, but couldn't finish 6 innings.

Pereda is en fuego. Sadly, when Cal comes back they'll probably send him down to Tacoma and stay with Garv.

Offense continues to pound the ball. Loving that we've been putting traffic in front of the HRs.

Pretty comfortable most of the game, especially after Pereda' 3 run dinger to kind of ice it. Chance for a sweep tomorrow on an 8 game win streak. We're in a stretch where we'll be facing several teams with losing records. Good chance to really build on our division lead.

Couldn’t finish. Or wasn’t allowed. He could have thrown one for a double play too. I get you. But also don’t. I was actually upset he didn’t get a chance with the lead

And yes. Par for the course. Sub 200 for veteran presence. While pereda seems in tune with pitchers

Was about to say "Nice to see Naylor back in there and he sails a throw to 2d into left field."
