While I think Love is the better prospect it wouldn't shock me at all if Price had a better year because he's in a much better situation.
1,000 yards ain't that big of a deal anyway. Hasn't really been since they went to the 16 game season. Now, at 17 it's only 59 yds/game. 
Now, since Seattle has been emphasizing the run more it's easier here than other more pass happy teams, but whatever.

Still good for a rookie, especially one who plays for a coach who likes to have at least two RBs split carries.

Factoring up the 14-game 1000-yard/season benchmark for 17 games equals ~1200 yds.
Nine (9) running backs last season rushed for 1200 yards or more.
And as it turns out, there were also nine (9) running backs in 1977, the last 14-game season, that rushed for 1000 yards or more... interesting... and validating to a degree.

When you consider that he split time with Charbonnet and got only a little more than half the carries last year then 1,000 yards is pretty good.
He also had the fewest carries of any 1000 yard rusher in the NFL last year.
None of which includes his receiving stats.
Would I have paid what KC paid? No way, but that shouldn’t diminish what he was able to do when healthy.
Not sure why every time a guy moves on or gets traded.........time to blast him and act like he sucks and had nothing to do with winning. To each his/her own, but it's strange af, to me at least.
I know this fanbase is very spoiled, but whatever happened to having some appreciation for a player who moves on? Even IF you don't like the guy, for whatever reason. Almost feels like "I don't like him, so he sucks"

Yep. And it was ridiculous. I will never budge on that. And that's ok.
I misread the title and thought "Who's Shaun Price?" 
I don't think the poster said anything of the sort. It was just a throw away comment that should be ignored, and not commented on in a thread about Shaun Alexander and Jadarian Price.

I get you... I guess. But this whole Fewest Carries of any 1000 yard rusher is... an odd.... metric? Every other rusher that was over/close him in yardage was within 10 carries. The ones with more carries and 40 more yards... still averaged more per carry.
You don't throw it to Zach in the Red Zone when he's in because he runs it in.. Still 180 receiving for him.
Carbs had 300 less yards, on 40 less carries, with more TDs
And when healthy.. was because.. he got to split time. The two times he wanted to be the man.. He could not be at the 220 mark at week 14 and survive. Thats why I didn't want to pay the 15 million, not because he didn't have ability.
What? No one hated k9.

I agree 1,000 yrds is not a big deal for a 17-game season.
A RB did 2,000 plus in a 14-game season, funny how that
exists and never broke in 14 games since.

We can agree we didn’t want to overpay for him but the whole deal about fewest carries is that running backs often get their best runs with a rhythm and when you are splitting as much as our guys do, I believe that takes away from their ability to hit big plays more often. K9 needs the carries to get rolling. He proved that he could do that after Charbs went down.
As for Charbonnet, I feel like he’s a solid runner with excellent blocking (most of the time) but I wouldn’t feel as comfier with him as a solo back even if he were healthy.
