Yeah, they got the year wrong. That should be "2026 Defensive Player of the Year" as he will be playing offense AND defense this year.

For getting that type of award you would have thought they would have looked at the engraving, it's ok, a pissed JSN means more TD's this season, worked for Baldwin, will work for JSN.

Maybe if they get this Wednesday Night thing going they'll have the funds they need to get decent quality awards that are engraved correctly.

In the meantime, they should produce ASPCA-like commercials featuring sad, flea-ridden, malnourished NFL players requesting financial donations for the betterment of NFL awards.

That’s how good he is. Even the NFL said no one is good enough to defend him, might as well give home the DPOY too.
I was reading a different article about this and it looks like the D in defensive could be an O and they just got an E instead of an F after it, but who knows the two words the year are one word that was a total screwup of monumental proportions what a bunch of dorks something that substantial it would be like if the guys who made a yugo got to make a Rolls-Royce

My kid has better-looking trophies from their soccer league.
The word "Oefensive" as it appears on the trophy seems to be Dutch. It apparently translates to the english word "exercise" ..... if AI is to be believed.
Given that JSN extracted so much exercise from competitors trying to keep up, it's something of a unique honor.
Definitely a collector item.
