He is set up for success on the Seahawks. Price will be probably be Offensive Rookie of the Year.

I love the optimism, maybe a bit homer ish. But he’ll have the opportunity to make a run.

I'm not sure how if he's in a split the carries situation, anything's possible.

Look at it this way… he has the burst of K9, but way better hands out of the backfield and now opens up more RB passing concepts.
He has the burst of k9?

10 yards:
Price : 1.61 (38%)
K9: 1.49 (94%)
Charbonnet: 1.54 (79%)

40 yards:
Price : 4.49 (73%)
K9: 4.38 (94%)
Charbonnett: 4.53 (61%)

Lucky Price will be a 1,000-yard runner, powered by the greatness of our OL, and coaching.

Those of you who don't like this pick need to remember something important: the Rams used the 13th pick in this draft on Ty Simpson and that's really, really funny.

Additionally, everyone who likes this pick should also remember that.
That also kind a big chunk of the "trade back" talk

What player/team combo within the first half dozen or so picks of the second round would have had a team willing to give up anything real to land a specific guy with an extra year option?

I'm not seeing any

A healthy Price/McIntosh combo.. would be just.. wonderful. I have high hopes for Kenny, lets hope hes just not fragile, Power/Speed Combo just in reverse from last year

Bad news is.. McIntosh has already proven to be fragile

I know the Seahawks like to split carries with the RB's, but that was with two legit starters Zach Charbonnet and K9. Both of whom were 2nd round picks. When Charbonnet went down with a season ending injury, Holani didn't step in his place and take on the same amount of carries as Zach. Holani had only 5 carries the last two games, while K9 had 46 carries the last two games. Holani is a JAG. Emanuel Wilson I'm assuming will be RB2.

Price is an immediate starting caliber RB while the other RB's on the roster, except Charbonnet, are JAGs. I don't think the JAGs will be splitting a lot of carries with Price. When Charbonnet returns from his injury, maybe November, then Price will have to share a lot more carries. I think Price will get 70% - 75% of the carries until Charbonnet returns.

Be curious to see the dynamics of Zach with Price, seeing this will be Zach's contract year, I don't see Zach back with the Seahawks next year.

Actually, it will probably be pretty easy.. Who ever wins the job.

Charbonnet is proven.

When a touchdown was imminent, they took the ball away from K9 and gave it to Zach Ch. K9 had the burst and great vision, but as a smaller back who liked to dance, he didn't have power or momentum to bust through for a touchdown.

Price will get better with carries, and I believe that he will take about 3/4 of the carries, plus a steady increase in catches and pass protection.

I hope they run 50%+ carries vs passes this year, starting Price out kind of slow, then steadily increasing the number of carries to get him used to being the guy, while giving the rest of the carries to McIntosh and Zachariah.

K9 is a smaller back?

K9: 5'9, 211 lbs
Zach: 6' 214 lbs
Price: 5'10" 209 lbs

I'm sorry but I disagree,
Price has not been a regular starter in college or the "bell cow" back.
You are assuming he's just going to roll in there, you forgot there are
other backs who could split the carries like Mcintosh who's 6'0" 205.
I just believe the Hawks will go with split carries from last year on forward,
the NFL has trended this way because RBs don't stay healthy like in the past,
the "bell cow" eras are over.

Bellcow backs thrived in the 10 to 12 game season, 17 and 18 games in the future, it will happen plus possibly 4 playoff games that is a lot of being beat on in a season. Really waiting to see the roster expanded to 60. But the backfield needs two guys now, 3 possibly as a change of pace and a receiving back if the other two have hands of stone which I hope the GM is smarter then that.

They did thrive in a 14 game season and quite a few in a 16 game as well,
it was a different era (s) now offenses have changed, the players have
changed as well in toughness, you see the IR -IL loaded every week.
I agree you need 3-4 backs who fill different roles and keep the others fresh.
