From what I've heard so far, the 2026 schedule is about as favorable as it can be for Seattle.
  • No international games
  • Nine home games, eight away (and kudos to the team announcing monitoring of ticket reselling -- hope that discourages idiots from selling home game tickets to fans of other teams)
  • One of the lowest total travel miles in recent memory
  • Opener vs Patriots at home (such a kind gesture to let them be the first ones to see the SB banner they helped us get)
  • Christmas Day vs Rams at home
  • A whopping six prime time games including MNF home games vs Bears and Cowboys
Only thing I've yet to hear is when Seattle's bye week will be. Regardless, should be a good season!

I like everything you've posted minus the Pats on opening day. IMO, I think it will be in poor taste for the League to schedule that game. All it will do is put Drake in a blender in back to back games, embarrass an entire franchise and fanbase on national television (again) and not to mention rub the Pats' proverbial noses in it when we hoist the banner. I'm all about celebration and talking a little smack, but that's leaning into it a bit.

I think a far better game would be the Rams in a championship game rematch. Hell, we're the 2 best teams in the league. And letting them baste in us raising the banner is far more satisfying that making New England do it, they've already suffered the indignation of getting their sh*t kicked in for 60 minutes in the Bowl.

I think opening game should be a patsy game, where the visiting team only has a boxer’s chance, not a meaningful game where the visitor has even or better odds of winning.

Maybe the league agrees, and is saying what they really think of the Patriots.

I wanna know how many SUNDAY NIGHT games we will get, preferably in Lumen. Those are the real prize and the league hates putting us in that time slot.

A HOME game on Xmas is plenty reason to complain. Lame. The rest, cool.

And the league is giving the Rams a HUGE break by not having to play in front of a full stadium. And no, it will not be full on xmas night.

But how can they tell the people they sell to are fans of other teams, though?

Couldn't those people simply LIE and say they're Seahawks fans when they're not? 🤷‍♂️

not possible since the Rams are opening in Australia vs. the 49ers.

If Mahomes wasn't coming off surgery, I can't imagine it would be anyone other than KC for the opener. Esp. with K9 coming back.

League fails yet again. Could have easily made Hawks/Clams the TNF game on Dec. 24.
So, not to argue with the OP, but already TWO things to complain about :)

Are you really concerned about The Patriots fans and players “feelings”?

After all the 💩we took from them after 49, I’ll take every opportunity to humble and humiliate them I can get.

Having said that, there’s probably a game I’d rather see as the opener but I’m not even going to take time to figure it out.

I’ll be happy to eff them up again.

Please don't misunderstand, I don't give 2 sh*ts about the Pats or their fanbase. My point is, I think scheduling them for week 1 is bad form. Let them be the Massholes that they are, we expect that and they never disappoint. We, on the other hand, are better than that. Schedule another opponent for week 1 and save a Pats curb stomping for later in the season.

The Seahawks don't have control of their schedule, it's the NFL screwing the Pats, not the Seahawks. With that said, I hope the Hawks completely demoralize the entire state of Massachusetts, their players, coaches and fan base. I hope they ruin their entire season after this first game, and I hope that they lose 6 straight and Vrabel can't take the weekly abuse he's about to get from the media, until he steps down or is canned. Go Hawks!

Playing on christmas day sucks
Uh... did you mean to type "rocks"?
The Red Ryder BB gun & a Ram's Ass Kicking with some of the best food of the year mixed with some Xmas liquid cheer. Throw in a couple of kid's or Grandkid's wearing freshly unwrapped Seahawk jerseys.
I beg to differ.
Just a preliminary Hawk holiday celebration on our way to repeat as champs.

Oh yeah, and the Seagal's wearing their Santa's helpers outfits. How could all that be wrong?
