Welcome Dante Fowler.

Seems our defensive draft picks & FA signings of late scream of "We dare you to run the football on us" and "Go ahead, try to throw on our secondary."
I think this defense is going to take an early step up from last year and force a lot of punts, and we have the PRers to give us great field position.
Last years SB season highlighted Myers & JSN's unbelievable seasons. But I want this year to be more about more sustained drives running the football & scoring TD's and our defense strangling opposing offenses.

Fowler/Mafe saves 15M.
Price/K9 saves12M
The Woolen & Bryant contracts vs draft picks saved us around 10M each. That's a lot of cap room while hopefully no long-term talent drop.

John's not done yet.

The Bengals are desperate. They’ve done a lot this offseason D-line wise.

Their mentality is what we’re starting to see pan out across quite a few teams. There’s only so long Burrow, Chase and Higgins will be together.

Philly is another one that has to be thinking ‘strike now’ (thus…$20M to Woolen).

Seeing a lot of craziness with teams that consider themselves ‘close’.

Thankfully, we have the best GM/HC combo in the league and have remained solid in our approach(es).

I expect Fowler to have a lot of success here. Back with Durden.

Looks like it happened after all, and at a great discount!
That was a calendar situation. They waited until it wouldn't affect our comp picks. :)

The money is kind of amazing. From the sound of it, at least part of the low $5 mill cost is in incentives. Can't argue with it at all.

Nice upgrade, Seattle is out for blood and it's clear they want to be top dogs for the foreseeable future and not just in the NFCW, but in the entire league.
