This is the part that had me do a double-take when I first heard this.Highest graded guard in CFB last year. Did not allow a sack in three years.
That's wild.

Those bad things are good for us. A guy with his production doesn't fall without them.Exactly. Smaller hands too. Bad combine. All about the tape and character / fit.
There should be a hmmmm reaction..So they traded a 4th from next years arguably better draft for a 5th in this years weaker draft? I hope this guy is worth the draft capital.
I like that he is a center cause there’s just more intelligence required to work that position so it bodes well for his ability to play other spots. And he’s not small. I am glad we are getting bigger guys. …. Joey HuntYes!!!! Outstanding pick. RG of the future.
I'm sure he sucks and just has a father high up with the Seahawks...So they traded a 4th from next years arguably better draft for a 5th in this years weaker draft? I hope this guy is worth the draft capital.
I have been reading this forum for 20+ years and registered for the first time today to tell you how stupid this comment is.So they traded a 4th from next years arguably better draft for a 5th in this years weaker draft? I hope this guy is worth the draft capital.

Is it partly because I’m the rare combo of Seahawks and Hawkeyes fan? Yes, that’s part of it. But it’s mostly because this is just a stupid comment regardless of fandom.
You’re gonna learn to love Beau Stephens. Drafting an Iowa O-lineman is one of the safest things a GM can do.
Ok Beaus mom. Nothing personal. I was just doing the math on a perceived weak draft vs next years predicted stronger deeper draft.I have been reading this forum for 20+ years and registered for the first time today to tell you how stupid this comment is.

I don't remember a comment on .Net that has made me laugh as much as this one. Of all the outlandish comments over the last 20, this one broke you? Well, welcome aboard!I have been reading this forum for 20+ years and registered for the first time today to tell you how stupid this comment is.

I feel that by the time you get into rounds 4-5 and beyond in any year, the picks just tend to go based on scouting preferences and players who can be developed to fit team needs (with the occasional true diamond in the rough), as all of the polished talent has already been drafted by that point.Ok Beaus mom. Nothing personal. I was just doing the math on a perceived weak draft vs next years predicted stronger deeper draft.![]()
I can only imagine what 20+ years of vent up rage and frustration must feel like. I look forward to your 20 years of insight, not into the Seahawks, but into seahawks.net and what you've been thinking about us the last 20 years.I have been reading this forum for 20+ years and registered for the first time today to tell you how stupid this comment is.

Just to be a little more forthcoming, I’m not close to an every day reader of the forum; I visit it during milestones like every draft, Super Bowl wins, huge trades (ex: Russell Wilson). So I don’t really know “who’s who” on this board except I remember seeing posts by Aros the first time I visited .net - which could have been as far back as 2001 or so if this site existed then. I know I was definitely reading Mariners boards back that far and seeing The Ancient Mariner’s posts.I can only imagine what 20+ years of vent up rage and frustration must feel like.
